A hand reaches up to fiddle with the rose in his hair before it wraps around the back of his neck, bringing him millimeters away from Dazai’s lips for the second time that evening.

“Chuuya owes me two kisses now. How wonderful~”

The proximity is too much. Chuuya can’t take it anymore, hands clutching onto Dazai’s shirt desperately.

Fingers unclasp from the material, turning into palms that push with much more strength than Chuuya intended. Instantly, Dazai falls out of the boat with a yelp, splashing into the water below.

“This is quite the role reversal~ I thought Chuuya was my dog.” Nonetheless, Dazai turns away, his back now facing Chuuya as he sits on the ground in front of him.

“Not your dog.” His redhead says annoyed and pulls back on wet brown locks, but there’s a gentle tug than any real force behind it.

Lost in his own thoughts for the moment, he doesn’t register until too late, red curls coming up against his neck, lips brushing lightly against his ear, the words whispered low and sweet to him.

“Just yours.”

About Dazai’s betrayal…

LiSTEN this idea had been on my mind for a while so I’m just going to throw this headcanon out here.

When Dazai blew up Chuuya’s car before leaving the Port Mafia, he was trying to protect Chuuya. You literally cannot convince me otherwise.

When Dazai left everyone around him would instantly become suspicious. That didn’t matter anymore for Ango and Oda but it could’ve been bad news for Chuuya. After all, the first person you’d suspect in aiding Dazai’s escape would be his partner. However blowing up Chuuya’s car, possibly harming him in the process, clears him from a lot of that suspicion.

I used to have a round and chubby body in junior school, all my friends didnt believe me lol what do you expect from a stressful life of college student

Specifically, Harukawa’s note on how checking how bright or dark their eyes are gives a guide to ‘a character’s mental state’, or how ‘tainted’ they are? The little passage suddenly jumped to my mind when rewatching the recent episode, and I dug out volume five of the manga again to read the afterword again, and while I can safely say it makes everything a bit more interesting, I want to talk about the arcade scene…

SOUKOKU LOOKIN AT EACH OTHER 💕 (Dazai looking at Chuu more)

To be honest, this has been sitting in my draft for half a year (lol) because I haven’t searched any SKK looking each other except for three. So it took some really long time and I gathered some.

If I missed out anything, that’s me still not good at searching or its just not them really looking at each other but the other person.

This was inspired by the Bungo Mayoi new screen(?) XD so its just really Dazai lookin at Chuu more.

But you all know this is just a thirst for a Soukoku fan 😂
