Hey guys, I need your help! I’ve just started working on a new project, which is great fun, but part of this project requires poetry, and I don’t want it to just be mine. I can’t explicitly tell you what the project is right now, however if you’re interested in having one (or more) of your poems featured, or writing one specifically for the project, you can message me and I’ll give you more information. Guidelines: ~ it should take about four minutes to read in full, however I’ll consider anywhere between 2-6 minutes ~ it can be on absolutely any topic at all, however try to keep it clean (swearing to a minimum, nothing explicitly sexy etc)

And yeah that’s basically it! All credit will go to the writer of the poem, under either your name or a pen name, and if you want people to find your blog I can provide a means for that as well. Please share this post around and dm me for more information :)

Oh also, I know I said the poems can be about anything, and that absolutely stands! Just pointing out that they can be ridiculous or serious or something in between, whatever you want them to be. So far I have two people interested, plus one poem I’ve written myself, but I need a minimum of ten more (hopefully, if the project works, I’ll need 23 more but for now, it’s ten) Thanks to anyone who’s reblogged this, it really helps me out ❤️

ATTENTION ALL CARRY ON FANS

This is an idea that has come to me over the last few days, and I think it would really work. We have some extremely talented people in this fandom who have pulled off some amazing things (the Fanzine, Valentine’s and Christmas, The Leavers Ball (coming up), SnowflakeFaces, all the other things I can’t think of right now). I believe we could pull off one more great trick.

In the last few days I’ve seen a lot of calls for a Carry On Musical. And while this seems like a massive, impossible task from across our phone and computer screens, I think we can pull it off. That’s right. A fully fan-crated Carry On musical. Think about it - a song for everything. Leaving the Orphanage. Simon’s list of things he misses. PENNY. BRILLIANT SONGS WONDERING WHERE BAZ IS. BAZ ARRIVING AT WATFORD. Rosebud Boy. Sour Cherry Scones. LADYBIRD LADYBIRD. Chapter 61!! (A song (or songs) titled either Chapter 61 or And Then He Kisses Me.) Fighting the Humdrum. Simon Says. jEANS.

THERE IS SO MUCH POTENTIAL WITH THIS IDEA.

My plan - it obviously wouldn’t be a stage show, but a movie. We could make it as big as we wanted to. All the little details.

We would need actors, and sets, and CGI. But most of all we would need scripts. That’s where we all can help out.

Like with the Fanzine, everybody could contribute something. Write a song, write some music. Help with casting - refer and request actors. Help with CGI and design of sets and characters and everything.

I know this would be a massive, probably expensive job. It seems unrealistic. I know you all probably think I’m hugely ambitious for trying to do something like this, but I know that we could do it. We are strong, there are so many of us. We are so diverse, I know there are people who could help with this.

Please guys. Please consider this. Please consider helping in whatever way you can.

I need a show of hands who would be interested in seeing something like this, even if you can’t help. If I get enough, I’ll create a blog for this, and a GoFundMe page.

~ Day 9 - Music ~

•Plotting (Baz’s Theme)•

So I tried to come up with a little theme with baz in mind and this is what happened… It’s more for the humorous side Baz and these are some of the times I had in mind when I thought about the song….

• When Baz stormed through those doors like the badass mother fudger he is (and the bass line would sorta be in sync with his footsteps as he strolled up to the doors and then the doors fling open once the main theme starts)

• Whenever Baz smirks and starts teasing Simon

• When Baz practically dies inside after seeing Simon on his rug (and simons like omg you’re wearing jeans)

• Whenever he yells at his sister for not knocking

• THAT TIME WHEN HIS DAD WAS LIKE “U plotting mate” AND WINKED AND BAZ IS LIKE FFS

• Also it kinda makes me think of Simon crawling through bushes and sneaking after Baz like ‘Penny, he’s plotting something. PLOTTING.’ Basically whenever Simon’s like ‘He’s plotting.’.

Hence, I named Baz’s Theme ‘Plotting’. (It’s legit stuck in my head now for Crowley’s sake)

There’s probs a few more scenes it’d fit but those were the top ones on my mind - HOPE YOU ENJOY!!!

If there’s ever a musical of Carry On, there needs to be a musical number that’s just Baz playing his violin and singing an operatic love song entitled ‘sock feet’ while Simon plays power chords on an electric guitar and screams ‘JEANS. JEANS. JEANS.’ really loudly in the background.
