“Hey, baby,” she smiled, leaning against the doorframe.
“Hey beautiful.” He walked toward her with a huge grin on his face, taking off his hat.
“How have you been?” she asked, straightening up slightly.
“Lonely.” He muttered and looked down at her. “But better now.” He was just as sappy as he was gruff.
She giggled quietly, wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace. “I’ve missed you.”
He kissed her forehead. “How have you been darlin’?”
“Tired,” she admitted with a quiet chuckle. “Danny is restless.”
“How is he?” He stepped back, smiling and took her hand, leading her to the couch, still facing her.
“He is both energetic and content. -also obedient which helps a lot. This way… no matter how much he hates it, he keeps his bracelet on and therefore his powers under control,” she hummed, following him. “So… anything new ‘round here?”
“I got a new pan! But… No not really.” He chuckled and sat down, looking up sweetly into her eyes.
She smiled, placing a gentle kiss to his lips. “You’re adorable… you know that?”
“I’m not-! …I know.” He kissed her back.
Taylor giggled softly, sitting down next to him. “Cooking is your forte, huh?” She hummed, nuzzling into his chest.
He wrapped his arm around her. “One of them.”
“Oh?” Taylor grinned up at him. “Just one?”
He raised his eyebrows. “Sweetheart there’s so much more.”
“Care to elaborate?” she smiled, pressing a few gentle kisses to his neck.
