a/n: heck lets see if i can DO THIS
prompt: @sassisaluxury: “If you’re game i’d love to see what happens with Steve and Robin’s sister ☺️”
Steve and you had been seeing each other for about a month now, without your sister’s knowledge. You were an awful sister, weren’t you?
“Steve, I think we should come clean to Robin,” you confessed, “I mean, she’s my sister and your best friend. I can’t keep lying to her.” Steve sat beside you and draped his arm around your shoulder.
“Yeah, I understand, I just don’t want her to be angry with us. I’m just surprised Dustin has kept it a secret for so long.” He pulled you closer. You laughed, but changed the subject back.
“Angry Robin is scary. You can never tell her next move.” Your eyes widened. “She’s gonna kill us. The longer we wait, the worse it’ll get.” Steve’s eyes were trained on the floor for a good thirty seconds before he could answer.
“Yeah, we should tell her now.” He decided as he grabbed your hand and took you to his car. The short drive to your house was full of anxiety over what your sister might say. You guys agreed to tell her together, since that was what you were. You were together. Dating. Boyfriend and girlfriend. You unlocked the front door and let Steve in. Robin was sitting on the couch with a Coke can in hand. She saw you two, took a sip, and set it down.
“What do you guys want?” She eyed you suspiciously. You and your boyfriend sat down across from her. You both deeply inhaled and began to come clean.
“Steve and I have been dating for about a month now. We’re sorry we didn’t tell you sooner, we just didn’t know how to approach this moment until now. Please don’t be upset with us, Robin.” You and Steve watched her blank expression. Was she going to pounce?
“I know.” She bluntly answered. Steve and you exchanged confused expressions.
“You...’know?’” Steve repeated. Robin gave a nod that meant “duh.”
“Well, you both stop bothering me after I said ‘don’t do the thing,’ which is uncharacteristic of you, you’ve been sneaking around and giving sorry excuses, and I know both of you like the back of my hand.” She explained. Your mouth hung agape.
“So...you’re not mad?” Steve questioned.
“No, I’m not mad. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little mad at first,” she shrugged, “but then I turned it into a game of ‘How Long Will They Try To Get Away With This?’ You guys did poorly. But no, I’m not mad. At least you guys are happy.” She reached for her Coke and took a long swig of it.
“Thank you so much, Robin. I love you, sis.” You told her. She stopped drinking from the can, paused, and let out a huge burp.
“Love you, too. Now play nice. And get out of my hair, I liked it when you weren’t bothering me.” You laughed and gave her a hug. Steve said his goodbyes and the two of you left in his car.
“So, what’s the plan for the rest of the day.” You asked your boyfriend. He leaned over and kissed you.
“Spend it with you, of course.” You blushed at his comment and told him to drive. You decided you wanted pizza, so you went back to his house and ordered some. It would be a glorious night in for you and him. You planned on sleeping over, which was no hassle since you already had all your necessities over at his house. The pair of you were cuddled up on the couch, watching Star Wars: A New Hope.
“I can’t believe you’ve never watched this, Steve. This is such a badass movie!” You told him. He pulled you closer and let out a low chuckle.
“I’m not much of a movie guy, but I’ll do anything you want.” He stroked your hair as his chest lifted and sank through breaths, causing you to rise and fall. You lifted your head up to look him in the eyes.
“Anything, huh?” You gave him a devious look, and he returned it with a sly smirk. “What about...” You leaned towards his ear and whispered dirty nothings to him. He closed his eyes and hummed at your words, then suddenly grabbed you and pulled you into a rough kiss. After a few minutes of you being in control, he wanted to change. He flipped you over on your back and started peeling off your shirt. That was, before you heard a knock at the door.
“It’s the pizza.” You both stared at the door.
“We could just ignore it.” He kissed your neck.
“Just get the pizza! I’m hungry!” You pushed him off you and he answered the door. A minute later, he came back with pizza.
“Magic!” He sat it down on the table in front of you. “So, how do you think Robin is gonna retaliate?” You took a bite of the slice you wanted.
“Well, I’m safe. She loves me because I’m her sister. You’re fucked.” You shoved the pizza in your mouth.
“Well, she said she was fine with it,” Steve reasoned, “right?” You watched his face turn to worry. “Oh, god. She’s gonna kill me.” He pushed his hair out of his face.
“Relax, you’ll be fine. Worst thing she’ll do to you is shove ice cream in your face.” You comforted him. He leaned onto you and sighed.
“Please don’t let her hurt me.” He whined to you. You stoked his hair and kissed his forehead.
Steve went to work and faced his biggest fear: Robin’s wrath.
“Okay, just get it over with.” He groaned, and she returned that with a confused expression. “Retaliate for disrespecting your wishes.
“Chill out, Steve. I’m past it. You mean a lot to my sister.” She rolled her eyes while she said that last part. “Besides, I have much bigger things to worry about.” After she endes her mysterious sentence, you entered Scoops. As soon as Steve’s eyes met you, he was filled with joy. He rushed out from behind the counter and scooped you up.
“Hey, cutie.” He planted a big kiss on your cheek while you giggled uncontrollably.
“Put me down!” You shouted through laughs. Your sister watched with a smile on her face. At least you were happy. She hadn’t seen you smile that big since your team won your championship game in eighth grade. Steve set you down and you grabbed his face to kiss him. After your scene was over and done with, you approached your sister at the counter. “And how is my beautiful sister on this sunny afternoon?” You asked in a gleeful tone.
“Your sister is bored. And she also wants to rent a movie with her sister tonight and have a girls night. No boys allowed.” Robin squinted her eyes at Steve. He pretended no to notice.
“Deal. I’d love that. I’ll rent the movie and get some snacks,” you proposed, “and I’ll pick you up after your shift. Right now, me and Steve are going for laser tag. I’ll be back at 8!” You ran behind the counter and gave your sister a goodbye hug, then she watched you rush out of Scoops with your boyfriend. At least you were finally happy. That’s all that mattered.
