— “ Ohhh, it’s freezing! ” The wind that BILLOWED throughout the forest was more cold than she had ever before experienced and Yona could definitely say she was not a fan ; none of the others seemed to be bothered at all, though, and whilst she did not desire to WHINE, it was simply too cold !!! In an attempt to warm herself up, she scooted to the side ‘til her form was pressed right up against Hak’s ( ignoring the blush that stained her cheeks ).
the wind was definitely unbridled & HARSH, making a loud ‘whoosh’ each time it visited them. the surrounding trees danced in accordance. luckily for the princess, hak’s body temperature ran pretty warm. he opened up the first layer of his clothing so she could huddle up even closer. “this is why you shouldn’t have been so INSISTENT on going to the lake.” of course, he had to say something. meanwhile, jae-ha & zeno were on the look-out to find a cave they could take refuge in for the night, since the outside would be just a bit too unforgiving.

a BRIEF silence ensued the other's unprompted kiss. huh... huh—?? it was gruesome to hold back normally but the princess always had to go and make it WORSE. free hands pulled her closer, one palm on her back the other on her waist, taking more control of the kiss. she doesn't know what she's getting into, does she?

Praise from Hak~ Like a light switch had been flipped the other’s stance loosened, his shoulders dropping into a un-defensive stance, hands swaying loose at his sides. “You think so?” Sweat was beading down the back of his neck, blonde hair’s sticky against his forehead, his chest heaving up and down. Yet through all that like a coiled snake, he could feel it. A sharp pain in his lungs- a growing pressure in his head. Shit.
“yeah, i’d assume otherwise from how defenseless you look,” he added, loosening his robe. It was about the time of the evening there weren’t going to be any more students. He supposed looks had always been deceiving when it came to his friend. “d’you wanna head somewhere to eat?” funnily enough, hak was OBLIVIOUS to soo-won’s splitting migraine.

it was right then, in the middle of all the FUSS between the two parties, a young man intervened— beckoning the girl’s attention. “excuse me,” he smiled before bending down to the other’s ear-level and whispering something. perhaps he was concerned?
That’s it. She lunges at the other, knocking over serval plates of ceremonial sweets. “Shut your mouth!” so long to the peace treaty, there where more important things at hand right now….Like strangling him.
w a h ~ he didn’t expect her to actually get physical. “hasn’t anybody told you?” he said, holding back the girl’s wrists INCHES away from his throat, “anger isn’t a good look on a woman. ” at this point he was asking for it.
what is he a black hole ? “ Do they not have manners in ____?” Seriously did he not respect the peace treaties delicate balance. “Are you sure you’re even a diplomate?”
“unfortunately, yes,” he replies before grabbing one more of the delicately made sweets. “quit frowning so much, you’ll end up all wrinkly. ”
“Oh? Ill be sure to tell lady Gigi, she will be pleased to hear the compliment.”
“fell ‘er the sweefs are goof ‘oo.” was he supposed to consuming all the treats displayed? probably not. in his defense it was how he coped with BOREDOM.

Is she desperate? Maybe a little. After all she still has little complexes about her hair now and then - but she knew she shouldn't have asked him. Jae-ha or Kija would have given her wanted she wanted - even Zeno.
“alright, alright,” hak responded to her plea in monotone. “your hair looks FANTASTIC—” was he being sarcastic or genuine? it was hard to tell. “especially with all those twigs & bugs decorating it.” okay, now he was being OBVIOUS.

The pain he felt by the other’s blow was quickly alleviated by a rush of amazement. ‘So cool Hak’. The hit knocked him back, sending the youth stumbling, as the next kick came for his ankle he hopped - almost akin to a rabbit dodging the martial artist’s clever counter. He didn’t wait a second using his upper body strength to aim a sucker punch right for his friend’s jaw
the other’s deft jump was internally commended by the martial artist, hands quickly reacting to the man’s follow-up blow. soo-won’s punch was halted mid-way, captured by his grip inches away from his jaw. impressive. “Not bad,” Hak mentioned, easing down from the spar. i guess he wasn’t lying when he said he’s been training.
OK SO I was reading one of the scans from the fanbook ( link here ) and, when Hak was 7 yr old, there was a tile breaking competition and Hak was the only one who couldn’t break them. And apparently his eyes turned RED & TEARY. It turns out that Mun-dok had REPLACED all his tiles with the strongest ones. Which he didn’t know and trained himself to death so he could break them all in the next tournament.
