thanks for stopping by! here are some ways you can support my work:
Weโre super excited to announce a new digital Bad Buddy fanzine for Palestine โ both to raise money for for We Are Not Numbers (a youth-led nonprofit based in Gaza that tells the stories of Palestinian youth and advocates for their human rights), but also to be able to keep talking about the fight for Palestinian liberation, why we cannot get used to this genocide, and what we can do to fight Israelโs settler colonialism and ongoing nakba until Palestine is free from river to sea.
Your mods for this zine are Science (@sciencebluefeelings) and Deepa (@fiercynn)! It is both of our first times modding a zine, but weโre fortunate to have guidance from friends with much more experience. The digital zine will feature new fanart, fanfic, and fan poetry exclusive to the zine, made by seventeen different contributors in Bad Buddy fandom. We expect the zine to be out in mid-April 2024.
Weโre also opening up our Order Form now so that you can pre-order a copy of the zine if you choose. Our How to Order Your Zine page explains how you can make your donation directly to WANN and share proof of your donation with us while still maintaining your privacy. Of course, if you want to wait until weโve shared more about the zine, or until the zine is completed, that is totally fine โ the order form will stay open through the end of May 2024 at least.ย
You can follow us here and/or on Twitter (@/BadBuddyFanzine), where weโll be sharing more information in the coming weeks, including spotlights on our contributing writers and artists, more about We Are Not Numbers and the fight for Palestinian liberation, information, and more! Or, if you just want to be updated on when the zine is completed, you can sign up here to join our email list.ย
Check out our FAQs for more information, and email us any additional questions you have at BadBuddyFanzine@gmail.com. (Our asks are closed so that we can keep information streamlined through email.) Stay tuned, and please share so that we can make this a successful zine and fundraiser!

[ID: a digital illustration done by @sadfishkid of the four player characters in my homebrew D&D campaign. The four characters from left to right are Zamira, a tiefling bard, (@brandnewsetofbones), Ernest (@teacupsinspace), a high elven sorcerer, Fiske (@potatosoda) a half-elf, half-dragonborn cleric and Kieran (@fearless-flower), a drow rogue/fighter. They are walking towards the viewer and looking around as they wander over a feywild carnival. All of them except for Ernest are holding colorful ice-cream cones. Red pseudo dragons fly through the foreground, a bunny person sells tickets to a snail race to the right, colorful tents, flowers and mushrooms as well as giant snails can be seen in the background. Everything is very bright with a festive atmosphere.
Zamira is a red tiefling woman with long, black, curly hair, golden hoop earrings, black eyes and dressed in a white blouse and a corset. Her horns are curled and she smiles as she looks to the side with one hand on Fiske's arm. Ernest is a tall, black man with dreadlocks pulled back in a high bun. He's dressed in purple, gold and white and looks seriously over to where Zamira is looking. Fiske is an east-asian man with short, brown hair, golden scales on his cheek and two differently colored eyes. He's dressed in black and gold and smiles. Kieran has dark-grey skin and long, pointy ears, untidy black hair and is dressed in black leather armor. He looks astonished. End ID]
I commissioned Tasha (again) for a present for my players <3 They went to a feywild carnival and I've been staring at the result for a million years. Go commission Tasha, her work is so amazing and she's great to work with!!

Hua Cheng shakes her head, and smiles. โYouโre such a freak.โ Her voice contains a mocking note of something near admiration. He Xuan rolls her eyes, then makes the mistake of glancing across across the board. Hua Cheng rests her face in a propped-up palm, and she pays He Xuan a knowing look. On anyone else, He Xuan wouldnโt pay it any mind, but she dislikes it on Hua Cheng; she already knows too much. โReally. You would have been wasted as a real heavenly official. You wouldโve either usurped the Palace of Ling Wen or been bored out of your mind.โ
i commissioned @sadfishkid to illustrate a scene from my fic and it turned out perfect, thank you so much :)
