"Immature people crave and demand moral certainty: This is bad, this is good. Kids and adolescents struggle to find a sure moral foothold in this bewildering world; they long to feel they’re on the winning side, or at least a member of the team. To them, heroic fantasy may offer a vision of moral clarity. Unfortunately, the pretended Battle Between (unquestioned) Good and (unexamined) Evil obscures instead of clarifying, serving as a mere excuse for violence — as brainless, useless, and base as aggressive war in the real world."

COMMISSIONS

i've been working on prototypes & getting my first art show assembled for the last few months. now, the prototypes are just about done, and the exhibition is Happening so i don't have to think about it --> commissions can officially open! a few options are available:

1) off-the-shelf 55€ + shipping: if you want any doll or familiar i've posted (that is not a custom sculpt for somebody else), this option is for you. we can discuss size, color and paint options, or you can have a blank base for a discounted price. dolls are made to order.

2) custom 200€ + shipping: a fully custom sculpt made to your specifications, printed and painted (unless you want a blank base). can include hair and eyes, does not include clothing. a custom sculpt will not be sold to anyone else without permission. if you need more than one of the same doll, extra copies are 55€ a piece.

[secret third thing: semi-custom, price varies. something like "the necromancer, but without horns" or "the cryptic frogge, but with a flatter chest" would be a semi-custom. i reserve the right to also sell these to other people.]

i do not currently sell stl files.

additional fees may apply based on things like size (anything over 35cm or so) or a complex paint job. you will be notified of this before i start working.

all dolls are 3d-printed in PLA. this means the following things:

  • they are very lightweight and reasonably sturdy.
  • there will be some printing lines and imperfections. i check the quality of every doll, but a 3d print will never be as flawlessly smooth as a resin doll or a mass-produced plastic doll.
  • they are non-toxic, though should not be given to children to chew on because they're entirely made of small parts strung together with elastic cord. very much a choking hazard.

payments via paypal invoice before printing begins. bank transfer and mobilepay are also ok for finnish customers. i ship worldwide, cost depends on location and package size (if needed, i can ship a doll unassebled to cut costs). let me know where you live and i'll give you a shipping quote. i'm based in the eu, and additional customs fees may apply outside the eu.

shoot me a message to get started! we can conduct business using dms, or move to discord or email if that works better for you.

a small stone troll. this prototype is printed with a fairly rough setting, but i think the printing texture being so visible adds some character in this case. regardless, sale versions of The Boi will be smoother.

this is a collaboration with my partner; they did a sketch for the kind of body type they wanted, and i embellished it into a rock creature. the background skull is an older piece i made, to memorialize a retired tabletop rp character or theirs.
