Say You’ll Want Me Pt. 8

So… it took nearly six months but I finally got this finished. I’m sorry for the long wait. There were a ton of rewrites and multiple bouts of writer’s block but my brain finally decided to cooperate long enough to finish. There’s one more short part and an epilogue coming. They’re both almost finished so they should be up soon. Thank you to everyone that has kept up with this series. I’m sad it’s coming to an end. Love you guys <3

When I met @skeletonhater143 , I had to convince my mother that they were not a creepy old man/woman. I had to explain that I had texted and called them and they slunded like the average teenager. Was that enough? Nope. I had to show a picture of them in order for her to believe me.

Meanwhile, dad was super chill and had a full on conversation with them. Although he did want to make sure, he didn’t need to know all of their history. He just wanted to know if they were my age and if they were cool - which they are. And, the only reason he even asked about talking to them on the phone is because I was already talking to them and had brought them up a few times before.

Parents man.

I’m not a pedo, but I haven’t had the opportunity to make any online friends and anxiety makes it difficult anyway. I’d love to though.

So I’ve found a writer on Wattpad that took work from some of us. Their username is -lunaticfringe (with the dash in it).

I mean, she gave the credit but I can assume she never once asked for permission. She didn’t ask me when she took and posted ‘Colorful Signs of Lovemaking’.

She may have posted who wrote it (given credit), but without the writer’s permission, it’s still stealing. We own the intellectual property as writers, therefore we get say on where it goes and who posts it. This story was posted without my knowledge or consent.

Stuff like this is soul crushing and can put a writer off from continuing. Don’t be that person. Ask before you post on another site.

And I’m pretty sure the following writers didn’t get asked for their work to be posted on Wattpad.

So, I've been hanging out a bunch on my rping account, but I saw this on @concussed-to-pieces blog when I went to read fics on there (because yes, I follow you on that account too, Atlas.) BUT, I saw my birthday fic on the list and got furious. Now.. if you just started following me or have been a follower for a while.. Birthday Buddies was one of my first fics. I'm pretty sure it was one of my first 5 fics. I posted Birthday Buddies last year on my birthday because I share my birthday with Dean Ambrose. It was only my 2nd smut fic I'd written. I was so proud of it! To see that someone had the gall to steal it? That tore me to pieces because I'd worked SO hard on it. Most of my fics are personal and mean the world to me, Birthday Buddies being one of them.
