Hi everyone!

I haven’t posted for a long, long time, and that is because things have generally been going really well for me. I’m in my final year at university, graduating this summer, and have largely been anorexia free for several years now.

I’m posting because I’m a journalist, and was thinking about writing an article on the difficulties of the lockdown and COVID-19 when you have an eating disorder. I’m thinking difficulties in accessing treatment, but also just general difficulties in your everyday routine being disrupted (e.g struggling with exercise, not getting your usual foods etc). I really feel that this is an important topic to cover, and feel that I could cover it sensitively and with the care it deserves as an ex-ED sufferer myself. I have written for several publications including The Guardian before, so I am experienced.

Please send me a message to let me know if you’d be willing to talk to me, or know anyone who would. Reblogs are appreciated! I could keep you totally anonymous, I’m just interested in hearing how you are coping managing your illness during this time of great disruption and difficulty.

Still looking to talk to people with eating disorders who are particularly struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic for an article I’m writing! Please message me if this interests you x

“Sometimes I wake up and miss you. Isn’t it cruel, how I can offer you more forgiveness than my own battered, beaten heart?”
