They need help to get to Rafah and evacuate so Ghydaa can continue her treatment.

Kareem & His Family

Kareem is an ER surgeon with family members who have worsening medical conditions and can no longer stay in Gaza. They need help to evacuate to Egypt.

Moamin & His Family of 20

Moamin is SO CLOSE to their goal and being able to evacuate their huge family out of Gaza!!

Hassan & His Family of 10

Hassan has eight children in his family, and bed-ridden himself- facing the possibility of having his leg amputated. They are seeking to evacuate Gaza for better health and a more sterile environment.

Sara's Family

Sara's family is currently in Gaza, while her ill father made it to Egypt, much of her family is still in Gaza and wants nothing more than to get them out.

Alaa, Ola, & Hanaan

Alaa and Ola are both mothers of young children and are looking for support in the way of diapers, formula, passports, visas, etc. They're hope is to leave their home, as much as thay hurts to do.

this is an illustration for youssef, whose mother is remembered running desperately into the hospital asking if anyone had seen a "small white boy with beautiful curly hair, his name is youssef," a description which was remembered by millions when she finally identified his body:

this illustration is for young omar, who was hugging his little brother and teaching him how to repeat the shahada after him (a prayer spoken by muslims before their death) as he lay on his hospital bed:

Palestine is calling for a global strike from the 21st - 28th of January 2024.

Here's a helpful guide on what you can do to participate in the strike, with alt text (also written in Read More). Even if you can't do it all, do the most that you can.

BDS has updated their calls for consumer boycotts to include: Chevron (and Texaco and Caltex by extension): x

They have also officially called for a boycott of McDonald’s: x

I know the boycott of McDonalds has been going on for a while, but it was not officially called for by the BDS national committee until recently. (Though they have supported the organic boycotts, they recently pointed out an escalation in McDonald’s active participation in upholding apartheid wrt the lawsuit filed by McDonalds Malaysia, along with their continued operation in Israel.)

Chevron was on the divestment list, but has now also been added to the consumer boycott list.

Please familiarize yourself with the list of brands on the consumer boycott list and make sure you are at least boycotting them. Targeted, organized boycotts will make the most impact. Boycotting additional companies who are not on the BDS list isn’t a bad thing, but the BDS national committee didn’t just throw those names up there willy-nilly.
