With Tumblr mostly being dead these days, I’ll just let you guys know where you can find me and my work.
So that's the end for this part! I struggled so hard with trying to think of how to end this. The original idea made the whole thing feel kind of meaningless, but now there's at least a hint of a change happening, and Shaw recognizing that he needs to keep improving his skills.
This comic is silly, but I'm very happy with it on a personal level. I stuck with it for almost a year, and managed to finish a somewhat coherent story! It's nice to challenge myself with a bigger project, making me have to do some stuff that I don't feel super comfortable with.
I like the dramatic effect on the third panel here, makes Nora look like a badass!
About time I did another page for this thing, especially when this part is so close to being wrapped up. Sorry about the wait!

Shaw and "Nora" sharing their beliefs on certain topics. I hope the dialogue is alright, as I've been looking forward to this little exchange. I'm not really a writer and there's room to improve, but I hope I at least make the conversation feel natural.

I'm wondering if I should draw smaller panels with a smaller brush size, as to not lose too much detail. Maybe worth exploring in the future!

I have some regrets about the way the first panel here is drawn, like how the blood is drawn. I also think it'd make more sense to see the actual sword somewhere in the frame as well, but I didn't want the characters to be drawn too small.
Finally had time to finish this page. Once again, action poses are something I struggle with, but it's good to try 'em out a bit more! The battle continues!
