12th House Placements: Observations

*Most people with 12th House placements have a unique relationship with alcohol in some way. And it usually doesn’t involve addiction, contrary to the stereotype. Some are total lightweights who are wasted after one or two cocktails. Others have a scarily high tolerance without actually being an alcoholic. For me, I almost never get hangovers, no matter how much I drink. Also, a lot of teetotalers (those who rarely or never drink) have 12th House placements.

This is because alcohol puts you in an altered state but 12th House people can naturally access this kind of energy. So, we react to alcohol much differently than other people.

*Mars in the 12th: Never let people get away with invading your boundaries or taking advantage of you. PLEASE. Address it honestly, in the moment, and don’t sweep it under the rug or let it build up. It inevitably will get ugly. And scary (for them and/or for you)

*For Mercury in the 12th, channeling/clairaudience/claircognizance is just regular communication to them. They tend to have no idea whatsoever that it’s a gift, instead of just how their brain works. This fervor from their fans can resemble a religious leader of sorts, which will make some skeptical and critical of the individual, even though they don’t even try to have that kind of influence. *North Node in the 12th either totally embraces growth and evolution or they absolutely refuse to change their ways, in a self-destructive or delusional sense. Unfortunately, in the latter case, they may find a lot of people in their life outgrowing them or moving on, which will hopefully force them to grow up. They have to let go of the old, false version of themselves in order to be truly happy. 

*A lot of 12th House people come across as otherworldly or ethereal, frequently called an angel, god/goddess, unicorn, elf, etc by others. Either that or they just simply seem larger-than-life and iconic.
