“It better not be a Dark or Ghost type pokemon.” Alayne grumbles while typing in her password, somehow managing to bite off her rant about how the media was part of the reason why both types had such a poor reputation. In about 80% of horror films about Pokemon, it was either a Dark or a Ghost-type to blame. Granted, ghost pokemon also had a lot of questionable mythology behind them as well, stories about how they are actually reincarnations of human souls, so it was sort of understandable as to why they ended up as the star of all things scary but still. Dark types reputation was mostly driven by the media reporting the worse case scenario stories about them. Headlines such as ‘Mighyena attacks small child’ or ‘Sharpedo takes man’s leg’ caused so much fear for these Pokemon, but no one seemed to care that more people die each year from breathing in poisonous spores from Grass-types than from Dark and Ghost-type attacks combined. And this of course was only the damage from the news, not the fear culture that grew out of popular culture always making them out to be the villain.
Either way, this was not the time or the place for this conversation. Alayne holds one hand out for the disc while the other reaches for another ice cream sandwich. The sweet treat was starting to get a little soft from being out of the freezer for so long. “This will need a moment to load Would you run the ice cream back to the kitchen before it melts? Oz will be up all night licking the floor if he thinks there is any on the rug.”
Misaki opened the DVD case and handed the disk to her.
“Nope. It’s actually an Audino seeking revenge or something. You don’t see a nurturing Pokemon like that everyday.” The grunt joked as she made herself comfortable. “Anyway, it seems decent. It was rated 6.5/10.” Crossing her legs, she was about to grab a pillow until Alayne asked her to put the ice cream sandwiches back into the kitchen. Peering over the box, she complied.
“Sure. I’ll be right back.” Holding the ice cream sandwich box, Misaki made her way to the kitchen. When she got there, she opened the freezer and was about to put the box inside. Hesitating, she seized one of the frozen desserts beforehand. She felt bad for falling into temptation, but she couldn’t help it.
The ravenette returned to her friend’s room and sat down next to her.
“I’m back. Hope I didn’t miss anything.” As she unwrapped the ice cream sandwich, she chuckled. “Sorry I couldn’t resist the urge to get one more of these. They’re soooo good.”

I’m a day late but happy Pokémon Day!
"Happy Valentine's day babe. This is not much but I still think it is fitting." Cole says putting a red wool beanie on her head. He also had a bottle of red wine in his other hand, wanting to share it that night.
When he put the beanie on her head, she beamed while blushing. The warmth of the beanie reminded her of his embrace.
“You didn’t have to, but thank you.” Misaki thanked. She spotted the wine in his hand and took out her own gift for him. “I have something for you too. Sorry I didn’t give it to you earlier. There were other matters I had to attend to.”
Her gift to him was a small bag of homemade ginger ale cookies. The cookies were shaped like hearts and there was a ribbon that kept the bag closed.
