To preface this post, I’d like to begin by wishing everyone a happy Lunar New Year! May the year be plentiful and kind to all.
As for an update, you may have noticed his blog is quite silent as of the moment. While the 2018 bang has since wrapped up, I do wish to host this event annually so keep an eye out for future announcements!
In the meantime, this blog will be in a state of semi-activity. I will be on to answer any questions you may have and to occasionally reblog Lotura-related content, however all things to do with the bang itself will only begin later in the year.
To all of our new followers, thank you for expressing your interest! Your support of this event is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! I’d just like to take a moment to once again thank those that both participated and supported this event, as none of this would be possible without you. As of the posting of the masterpost, the Big Bang has officially concluded. For those who were late to come and missed the sign-up window, and to participants who wish to participate again, I’d love to bring this event back sometime next year, so keep an eye out! Thank you so much Robyn for organizing this beautiful Big Bang.
I was paired up with the beautifully talented (and author of Lilac and Lush), @aicosu for this event.
This art is based on her Lotura fae/nymph AU. Please look forward to it as I fell in love with this AU. It’s charming and sexy (As the fanfic will be NSFW.)

Without going too much into details about this AU …. there is a reason why there are many flowers/plants on Lotor’s ship and why he has a flower crown / flowers on him. In this AU Alteans are fae/nymphs and are attracted to shiny/sparkly items, hence why Lotor is holding a sparkly pink stone.
I’m proud of this work as it is the first work in which I created a proper background along with a lot of details. This was quite the challenge but I learned so much. U w U
I also would like to thank the wonderful people at the Lotura discord for suggesting what flowers/plants reminded them of Allura/Lotor (Lotura). Thank you so much @persephonesdark @gyodragon @fuu9266 ! (yes I took note of who suggested certain flowers).

My entry piece for the @loturabigbang event! I’m so excited to finally share this with you! :D I was paired up with pumpkinbash @theshipden for the prompt of an arranged marriage AU, starting with Lotor and Allura growing up together. It’s not based directly on a specific scene, but rather how I interpreted their relationship and their reunion from her fic, so sorry if it’s not that accurate 😥 (also, I wanted to give them alternate outfits and dramatic/flowy cape/dress).
I hope you like it and that I didn’t screw up! I really enjoyed making it and kudos to everyone who participated and for the amazing robyn @skywclkrs who runs the event! ♥

Allura found sleeping on Earth nearly impossible.
The dreams were merciless, more like visions than dreams. And that was part of what made them so…unsettling. Images of Lotor, slumped and emaciated, nothing more than a skeleton covered with stretched purple skin, eyes sunken and empty.
In her dreams, he looked just like Haggar.
She could still remember the feeling of her feet refusing to move, her hand feeling like it was made out of stone when she tried to reach for him. She may as well have been lightyears away, staring at him through an impossibly thick pane of viewing glass, but she could hear his voice as clearly as if he were standing right next to her:

It’s finally here! I participated in the @loturabigbang and have been working on these pieces since late October and I’m pleased to finally share the results! I got paired with @volvolvolwoahh and I am super happy that I got a chance to illustrate her fic!
