“Hey,” Summer murmered as the door opened to reveal his face. “I, um, missed you at the Valentine’s Day party. I looked around for you.” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, smiling. “I have something for you. Not.. like a Valentine’s Day present, because that’s kind of lame. But, I was thinking about what you said, about the powers and stuff. I grew you a flower. Um,” she held out a glass dome with a few white flowers blooming inside. “They’re called Honorine Jobert... and they, they bloom in late summer but they flourish in the fall. And I just think they’re really beautiful, and it’s not gonna die... I mean I’m pretty sure it won’t, I’m not sure about this whole magic thing, but I think I did it right. And it’s for you.”
