P-Bandai HG 1/144 Slave Wraith I love this kit. No stickers by the way.
Give yourself a big hug for making it through this year.
To everyone:
Yeah, I made this. Quite proud of myself for this one :)
Since it's October, I thought I'd share something from an idea I thought up of. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Reason Red doesn't have a face isn't because of the hood. It's because it's a concept art for something I'm currently working on. Also, I used multiple references when making this. Hope you all like it.
Just like with my first original Pokemon, Hydromous, I wanted to make a pseudo-legendary Pokemon that wasn't weak to Fairy-types. Also, while watching a video about Greece being a Pokemon region, the host talked about a dolphin Pokemon since the dolphin is Greece's most popular animal. Every design I saw on the internet was either generic or looked alien-like. Since the topic was about Greece, I thought of making the dolphin have armour to make it unique and warrior-like while adding blue jewels/stones to show how precious of an animal it is to the country. The name is a combination of 'dolphin' and 'warrior' (I know, it's not very creative). I made it Fairy-type so that it wouldn't be another pseudo-legendary weak to Fairy...... also because dolphins are cute and playful. I couldn't picture any other typing.
My first original Pokemon (or Fakemon) (NOTE: I used someone's Fakemon as a reference when making this. Here's the link: kipine.deviantart.com/art/Elem…) While watching a video of "What if Greece was a Pokemon Region?", I started thinking of Pokemon based on Greek mythology. One of them was the hydra, since I like dragons as much as I like ghosts. I also really like pseudo-legendary Pokemon (common Pokemon with base stats of 600 that rivals legendaries), but I hated how all (except Metagross) are weak to Fairy-types. So, I made one that wasn't. Its name is a combination of 'hydra' and 'venomous'. Not very creative, but so are a good portion of Pokemon names. Since some descriptions of the hydra have it as a snake-like monster, poison felt appropriate (also it gave it no weakness to Fairy-types). Originally, I was gonna put 9 heads since one description of the hydra is how many heads it has, but it started to feel crowded so I settled with 5 heads instead. It has the 'Regenerator' ability because the hydra was able to grow heads back after losing one - quite simple and obvious.
Wanted to do a little tribute to my favourite Pokemon type, but couldn't make every single Ghost Pokemon. So, instead, I just did something with my favourite ones. The shadows welcome me, but they will welcome you too.
Even before the announcement of Ultra Sun & Moon, I thought that "if there was a sequel, Guzma should be an elite four member to show how much he has grown". Of course, my thoughts and fantasies don't always come true, so this piece of art should suffice. Back story: After the events of the game(s), Guzma went under the first Kahuna's wing to become a better trainer. Not only did his skills improve, but so did his confidence (which he lacked at first, which lead him to be the Guzma we all encountered in the game(s)). With his skills and proud confidence, he rose to the ranks and became an elite four member, as well as getting his own Z Ring. Wanna see what hard work and confidence looks like? Here it is in human form - it's your boy, Elite Four Guzma!
My Team Skull Grunt cosplay (unfortunately, I forgot my proper shoes for the cosplay at home that day, so please forgive the inaccuracy and crooked scarf). Photos taken at Otakuthon 2017 by MrJechgo. This is, by far, the most fun cosplay for me. It’s even more fun when with a group of Team Skull cosplayers. The group conquered the con on Friday of that weekend (sadly I don’t have any photos to show). We went around, chanted, danced, called everyone stupid, and everyone loved us. No bus stops were stolen though.
Several months ago, I won a local VGC Pokemon tournament. My MVPs were Dhelmise and Mimikyu. Dhelmise, in my opinion, is underrated. It's the 'Tapu Killer', since its moves and power can take out every Tapu. Sure it's not fast or very durable, but it still packs a punch. I decided to make mine bulky and gave it an Expert Belt so that it could deliver devastating hits while taking some. It was able to OHKO Alolan-Marowak, 3 out of the four Tapus, and even bulky Mudsdale. No one at the tournament expected him to be bulky and powerful, which got me wins.
Several months ago, I won a local VGC Pokemon tournament. My MVPs were Dhelmise and Mimikyu. Mimikyu's tech move (that caused opponents to rage) was 'Baby-Doll Eyes', a priority move that lowers target's ATK stat by 1 stage. I decided to make an art as a tribute to my favourite Pokemon and his trollsy move.
One of my first pixel arts. It was a bit tedious to make. I didn’t have the right grid to make the letters properly.
