Hello everyone, im opening my commissions for a shot time, feel free to send email or dm me regarding the prices and more info xoxo dont be shy or feel pressured, im friendly and welcome curiosity xoxo
I finished painting this artwork several days ago. he is my OC Verro. you know that saying that Every writer puts their own traits into their characters. I try not to do that when I write my characters but just for once, I wanted him to be an artist like me. so he would have part of me. his profession is not an artist but he loves to draw. like I do. maybe that's why I keep drawing him over and over again. this art depicts the small scene in my book where he sits in the garden and sketching sculptures before him. wish I had tons of artwork to share every day. but I somehow find it hard to even produce something interesting and fun. this artwork was something to comfort me, reminding me how peaceful it is to draw personal works.
What do you prefer to draw? Characters portrait, landscapes or scenes from a book?
scenes, it's more challenging and interesting,
I'm tired of drawing character art just standing there.
as for the landscapes, I would love to draw more but I struggle a lot. It is bane of my existence
How long does it take you to finish an illustration?
it depends on the composition. i can't really say exactly how long it takes. The more details the illustration has, the more time I spend on them.
Are you planning to draw scenes from Fire and Blood (like for example the tournament of 111 AC, when Rhaenyra wore a black dress and Alicent a green one) and not just portraits of the characters (even though they are really wonderful)?
yes, I'm bored of drawing simple character art. I want to draw more scenes in the future.
Are you planning to draw the Belladonna series, by Adalyn Grace?
i dont know, i yet to read the book xoxo
Do you plan to paint any of the teenagers/children from the Dance of the Dragons (Jace, Luke, Joff, Aegon III, Viserys II, Baela, Rhaena, Jaehaera, Jaehaerys or Maelor)?
i might, because i hardly have a chance to draw kids. so it will be interesting
Do you intend to paint some Fire and Blood pairings together or just characters individual illustrations?
i want to draw more scenes, especially when it comes to personal art.
im quite insecure about drawing dragons though
Any more art of Twin Crowns?
maybe...
I recently saw your fanart of Magnus Damora and let me tell you it's just perfect! 🤍 Do you plan to paint more fanarts from Falling Kingdoms series?
oh, I painted him years ago. that artwork was commissioned. i haven't read the books, should I add it to my tbr?
What books are on your TBR?
a fate inked in blood by Danielle L Jensen
Lucy Undying by Kiersten white
Empire of the Wolf Series by Richard Swan
The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo
The Will of the Many by James Islington
you drew the Kingdom of the Wicked Page Overlays for Reading Portal, do you plan to draw more scenes from this series?
I might but frankly, i have nothing planned out yet... i kind want to focus on my ocs and draw personal stuff.
Do you have any tips for us on writing a story?
oh in this situation im the blind leading the blind.
i usually start with worldbuilding, then iI write about characters and how they live in this world. i add lots of details while writing the story. i have key points planned out, rest I made up while writing. so most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing
What characters from the book Fire&Blood do you plan to draw? Only the characters involved in the Dance? Or also some characters before/after them?
i havent decided yet, i want to draw other characters too, maybe not all of them but those I find fun to draw.
How did you choose the names of your OCs? Did you search the internet or did they just occur to you?
some I searched on the Internet, some I merged, some I made up. overall it was fun. i thought a lot about my MCs name. i was torn between Maeve, Mion, and Maera. in the end, Maeve was a better fit. Mion is a different character of mine from the old story I was writing years ago. and I kinda didn't want to use the same name.
I just wanted to tell you that I adore your style. I do not have words to describe it. I'd like to say amazing or fantastic, but I think that's an understatement. All your illustrations are absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.
thank you so much xoxo
wish I thought that about my style... I honestly don't like it but that's how I usually draw. changing it will be hard
I loveee your artworks!! I'm not sure if you've drawn them previously but would really love if you can draw the characters from @laurathalassa series bargainer or the four horsemen!! Lots of love Xxx
I loved working on those characters. especially death. it was so much for drawing him
I don't know if I will draw them again though...
