It's FUNNY because supernatural had Dean and Cas do all the things the romantic couples do. Date nights???? Done. Movie nights????? DUH. There was pining and longing. and yearning. They had them BREAK UP. LITERALLY. These two had a divorce arc. They raised a son together. They lost their son and went through a break up.

Dean had a whole ass WIDOWER ARC!!! No really, Dean grieved Cas like a broken widower.

Dean gave Cas a MIXTAPE. He was on his knees asking for forgiveness. Hell, everyone around them implied they were a couple. JOINED AT THE, Y'KNOW, EVERYTHING.

Supernatural had them do all this. Had all of this be done to them. But they never officially called them a couple. Show, not tell.

And because they never outright called them a COUPLE I'm still being called crazy and delusional for seeing them for what they are which is ... a COUPLE

and by FUNNY I mean sad

I have friends at Indiana University and they've been saying there are snipers on IU Bloomington campus. And theres a bunch of cops everywhere. This is wild.

It's because there's a whole bunch of students trying to set up camp and protesting against the genocide of Palestine outside the IMU. There's a lot of attention on larger universities for their protests, but do not discount the young people of the Midwest. We are here, we are speaking out against the genocide, and our conservative state leaders see our presence and activism as a threat to their status to the point that they are willing to escalate things by calling in the state police and putting fucking snipers on top of one of the most beautiful buildings on campus just in case they feel the need to fucking murder us.

The last picture is the aftermath of the pigs tearing down tents, btw. 34 were arrested and banned from campus.

Everyone call the IU President’s office at 812-855-4613 tomorrow when they open to demand the students be allowed back to campus and that freedom of expression be protected at IU.

the Columbia University arrests are worse than they seem. They're arresting protesting students for trespassing. It goes without saying students cannot meaningfully "trespass" in the common areas of a university they attend. So Columbia University has suspended all student protestors from their institution, in the process revoking their access to housing, their belonging, and most crucially damaging their academic futures. We are witnessing full scale silencing and removal of anyone of conscience from the next generation of academia.

beyond that the columbia common is literally an open space during the day; the gates are open and it's possible to pass through it like you'd pass through a regular block. even after my student ID expired i was still able to walk through the commons bc ID is not requested until you enter an actual building. it's quite common to see parents, toddlers, and such who are clearly not enrolled just hanging out. so not only were the students not trespassing at a SCHOOL THEY PAY FOR, there was also not a precedent for non-students to be disallowed from the grass and walkways.

Was thinking today about how money is like a rewind button for life. I didn't have it until a year ago, when I finally graduated from medical residency and my salary tripled overnight; I just never had the kind of money that makes these things possible. But now I do, and I can tell you that I don't fear making a lot of the mistakes that used to terrify me. If I spent 5 bucks on a mascara and hated it, well, tough luck, I either don't wear mascara or I wear that one. I couldn't buy shoes online. What if I have to return them? What if I can't get away from work long enough to return them? So I'd buy them in person, walking around and around the store, hoping I'd figure it out if they were going to pinch or hurt me because I wasn't getting a second shot at that money.

I dyed my hair. I'm bored with it now and trying to get the dye out, and I'm not stressed about it, because worst case scenario, I have the money to buy more bleach and more dye and if I need to I can pay for a stylist to fix it.

I bought shoes online. One pair didn't fit. I just gave them away. Easier than returning and the money means something totally different to me now.

I'm doing things I simply would never have done, could never have done, because I have the money to fix them if I make mistakes at these things that are new to me.

It is beyond inhumane that this is what gets people the ability to make mistakes and come back from them, erase them, fix them, rewind. We need to make life easier for everyone, not minuscule increments better for the already very rich.

Fucking this. I think about this a lot. Money gives you a luxury of failure that is so vital to being able to grow and learn. Failure and mistakes should not be a luxury affordable only to some.

Palestinian activists get their message across on Londons iconic Tower Bridge landmark- one of the cities most historic buildings. We need a ceasefire now.

🚨 Students at Harvard University launched an encampment in support of Gaza in Harvard Yard moments ago, calling for an end to Harvard's moral and material complicity in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.

Harvard has invested over $200 million of its over $51 billion endowment in companies with ties to zionist settlements in the West Bank, while most of its investments to the zionist entity are kept secret.

The students are demanding financial transparency regarding investments related to the zionist entity, as well as genocide and occupation in Palestine; divestment from these investments and reinvestment in Palestine; and dropping all charges against student activists.

The University has suppressed student voices in support of Palestine time and time again, suspending the Palestine Solidarity Committee just this week on baseless grounds. They have also enabled attacks on pro-Palestinian students from the media and politicians. Today, the students say enough is enough, and that they will no longer tolerate their institution's support for genocide.

This brings the number of ongoing encampments to 19, with more to come.
