Changes implemented!
Updated on 6th August 2022
Hello everyone, it has been a while and I've decided to change a few things while keeping others the same. Let's start with what stays the same.
There are still two different sections on this blog:
In the first section, you will find a list of all the people that are available to help you with your stories. You’ll be able to see which fandom/s they prefer, which kind of fanfictions they are willing to beta read and how to contact them.
How to be listed as beta reader
If you are willing to be someone’s beta reader, just fill in this form.
Here you’ll find people that are looking for a beta reader for a specific project that will be described using this format:
- Language
- Fandom
- Characters
- Category
- Rating
- Warnings
- How to contact
- Status (complete or in progress, already posted or not)
- Additional information (if needed)
1) From now on, writers will have to submit this form to appear on the blog. I will no longer be accepting any other form of submission as it is extremely time-consuming to adapt all the other formats.
2) You will have to submit one form for each story you need proofread.
3) Instead of personally posting all the new requests for betas and constantly updating the lists, I will link two live Excell documents (beta list and writer list) connected to the forms. Then, once a fortnight, I will post the list of new betas and the stories still requiring a beta on the blog.
4) I politely ask that you let me now here if you have found or no longer need a beta, so I can take you off the list.
5) If you have tried to contact a listed beta reader and they have not replied within a reasonable time (minimum 3 weeks), you can signal them to me here. If the same person gets reported more than 5 times, I will personally contact them and temporally remove them from the list until I have received a reply.
6) You can report any issues with betas or authors here. I hope there will be no need to do so, but I am available as a mediator in case any issues arise.
