Secrets of the Past

Dean Winchester x Reader, Elijah Mikaelson x Reader

Summary: You had left Mystic Falls and Elijah a long time ago, settling into your new Hunter lifestyle with Sam and Dean; keeping your past to yourself. When you find yourself in danger, would Elijah still care to help?

Word Count: 2.3k

“Wake up sleepy head, you’re worse than Dean” Sam said, tapping your shoulders as you groaned against the pillow.

“Go away” you mumbled before rolling over, facing away from him. It didn’t take long at all for the boys to see how much you weren’t a morning person.

The door to the motel room swung open as Dean walked in, holding a tray of coffees for the three of you. He looked over at Sam as he noticed you still in bed, rolling his eyes.

Not Just One Night - Regina Mills X Reader

Warnings: I don’t know… a butt gets touched? Nothing else really happens, but more is implied.

Summary: After a kiss with Regina, Reader is left wanting more.

Words: 1029

You couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss you had shared with Regina during the Christmas party at Granny’s a few days ago. The whole thing repeatedly played over in your head as the days went on. The scent of her perfume filling your nose; the softness of her; the taste of wine on her lips…

You had never thought of Regina in that light before the party. You thought she was gorgeous, of course, who doesn’t? But it was never much more than that. Hell, you hadn’t even intended for the kiss to happen. The whole thing only happened thanks to the party, some alcohol, and a well-placed mistletoe.

Regina had been stood by herself off to the side, so you had decided to go over and talk to her. It was only after Ruby had pointed it out that the two of you even knew the mistletoe was there. Of course, after she’d noticed, she wouldn’t leave you alone until you kissed.

You hadn’t expected to enjoy it as much as you did, but God you did. You hadn’t wanted it to end, but eventually you pulled yourself away. You thought you saw a look of disappointment in her eyes, but that could just be wishful thinking.

Now, the scene wouldn’t leave you alone, and you had been wanting to kiss her again ever since. You had been distracted everywhere you went, and almost everyone had picked up on your behaviour.

Finally, it got to the point where you just couldn’t take it anymore and decided to talk to Regina.

So, here you were. Right outside her door. You take a few breaths, attempting to calm your nerves before finally reaching out and ringing the bell.

After a moment, the door opens.

“[Y/n]?” There was surprise evident in her tone.

“H-hi Regina.” You try to keep you voice level, but it was clear that Regina had noticed.

She looked at you curiously. “Is everything alright?”

”Yes. I just… I was hoping I could talk to you about…something…” You shuffle awkwardly in the doorway.

She pauses for a moment before stepping aside, gesturing for you to go in. You obliged, following her into the sitting room.

“Have a seat.”

You shake your head. ”I’d rather stand, if you don’t mind.”

There was quiet for a moment, before Regina finally spoke, “What is it you want to talk about?”

“You remember the party at Granny’s, right?”

She seems surprised by the question at first, before a look of realisation crosses her face. Her cheeks turn a light pink.

“Oh, I see. You want to talk about the kiss.” Regina sighs, “[Y/n], about that-”

“-I liked it.”

Regina stops short.

Before she can say anything, you continue. ”I liked it. A lot. And I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Haven’t stopped thinking about what it would be like to kiss you again.”

Regina didn’t hide her surprise this time. Her eyes widened, and her lips were slightly parted. She remained silent.

After a moment I sigh, lowering you head. You knew she wouldn’t feel the same.

“That’s all I wanted to say. I’ll let myself out.”

You turn to the door but hear movement behind you.

“Wait.”

You turn back. Regina is stood a few inches away from you, close enough that if you leaned forward a bit, you could kiss her.

She seems to notice the proximity as well as she turns a slightly darker shade of pink, but still makes no effort to move.

“[Y/n], I-”

She seems to struggle with the words she’s trying to say, and hesitates.

Seeing her stopping you as a sign, you decide to take the punt.

Slowly, you pressed your lips to Regina’s. She kisses back almost immediately, and you breathe a relieved sigh. It doesn’t take long before you deepen the kiss, revelling in the feeling that seemed intensified this time around.

Feeling bold, you lightly nip at her bottom lip with your teeth. You felt her intake of breath and smirk to yourself.

You let your hands wander from her hips towards her ass and gave it a squeeze. She lets out another gasp, causing you to smirk once more. From there, you move your hands up under her shirt. She shivers as you lightly trace your hands across her bare skin, up towards the hem of her bra…

You feel her hands move from around your neck and she pulls away from the kiss. You let out a small whine but pull back, removing your hands from her shirt.

When you open your eyes, you smile at what you saw. Regina is breathing heavily, her cheeks are flushed, her lips swollen, and her pupils are dilated.

But, there is a light frown on her lips, and she looks down. You frown. Shit. Did I do something wrong? Has she changed her mind?

“Regina? What’s wrong?”

“I can’t do this.”

You remove your hands from her completely, allowing her some room.

She still doesn’t look up. “I’m sorry.”

“You don’t need to be sorry. It’s okay that you don’t want to.”

Regina shakes her head and looks up. “It’s not that I don’t want to, [y/n]. It’s just that… I… I care for you. And because of that, I’m comfortable just having a one night stand with you.”

Wait, what? She thought…?

“Regina, do I really seem like the kind of person to just have a one night stand?”

There’s a look of hope that flashes across her eyes, but she remains silent.

“I care for you too Regina.”

”You do?”

You chuckle lightly. “Don’t sound so surprised. Of course I do.”

Finally, she smiles, breathing a sigh of relief as she does so. She closes her eyes and leans forward so her head is against yours.

You stay like that for a moment before she pulls away. There’s a mischievous glint in her eyes that hadn’t been there previously.

“Now, where were we?”

You smirk and you pull her into another kiss.

She soon pulls away once again, this time to grab your hand and guide you towards the door.

“Let’s take this upstairs.”

“Lead the way.”

Beating Fate - Regina x Reader

A/N: My first attempt at a reader insert. Hope you enjoy :) I had a lot of fun with this one so if you guys have any ideas, send me an ask or submit a prompt :D

“Ten more minutes and I’ll be done with this report,” Regina said without looking up from the stack of paper on her desk.

Knowing she can’t see your nod, you hummed in response; paying only slight attention to what she had said. You were toying with the zipper of your jacket, pondering over a particular conversation you had with a fairy. “Robin’s a nice man.” The words escaped your mouth before you recognized your mistake.

Regina’s eyes moved up from the text she was reading towards the back of your head. “What did you say?” When she didn’t receive a response, curiosity got the best of her and she moved to sit next to where you were on the sofa. “Something on your mind?”

You looked up and gave her a slight shrug. “Nothing, I just think he’s a-”

“-nice man,” she finished.

“Yeah.” Your eyes were back on the zipper and your hands back to fidgeting with the small metal clip.

Her concern was evident and it only grew as you refused to meet her gaze. “What’s going on?” she asked, trailing her hand up to stroke the back of your neck.

You shake your head already wanting to drop this conversation. “It’s stupid. I saw him with his kid before coming here and I don’t know,” you trailed off. You could feel her worried gaze and began to move to stand, but she stopped you.

Regina held you down and shifted to straddle you; removing any chance of escaping this conversation. Automatically, you press your forehead against her chest, your hands circling her waist, running your fingers up along her spine.

“Are you saying you’d rather have me choose him over you?” She joked, hoping to ease the tension felt in the room.

You don’t respond.

She tilts her head. “I’d like to think you’d answer a littler faster,” she whispered with a slight chuckle, against your ear.

When she received no response from you, Regina pulled back to look at your face. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear and tilted your face until your eyes met. Her features softened, silently beckoning you to tell her what’s been bothering you.

You swallowed hard and mustered whatever energy you had left within you. “I can’t beat fate,” you paused and gave a pained chuckle. “Or pixie dust.”

Understanding dawned on her and she pulled you slightly closer to her. “Tinkerbelle told you,” she said, more of a statement than a question.

“Yeah.”

Her thumb ran along your jawline, while her eyes gazed across your features, noting all the fear, worry and pain on your face. “I love you,” she whispered.

The sound of your rapid heartbeat was all you can hear and the scent of apples and cinnamon was all you can smell. Your eyes glanced from her eyes to her lips. Her eyes. Her lips. Eyes. Lips. Lips. Lips.

She closed the gap and she was soft and gentle and passionate and for a second all the worries in the world could not take you away from this moment.

She pulled away slightly, touching her forehead against yours. “You and only you.”

“But fate,” you tried to interject.

“I don’t care about fate. It hasn’t worked in my favor since I was a child. Why should I believe it now? Especially when I have someone so beautiful.”

You couldn’t help but grin. “I love you too.” You leaned forward and kissed her again and again and again.

Who cares about pixie dust anyways.

Hurt - Regina x Reader

“Regina!” You shouted, rushing into the living room, then the study, and the kitchen. Nothing.

A few minutes ago you watched as some sort of flying beast charged into Mifflin street, straight towards the mansion. Your feet followed as fast as they could, but by the time you entered the house, it was radio silent.

Shattered glass laid across the ground, with parts of the concrete walls scattered around. Whatever thing that entered this house was strong and it only furthered your worry for her. You headed up the stairs and searched her bedroom. “Regina?”

“Here.” The voice came from one of the guest bedrooms, which now was completely ruined.

You moved towards her, helping her stand. “Are you alright?” Other than a few cuts on her face and the dust covering parts of her attire, you didn’t see any visible signs of hurt.

“Yeah, that thing just took me by surprise,” she said as you both descended down the stairs, moving towards what’s left of the living room.

She looked around the ruins of her home. “Whoever sent that beast should pay for all the damages.” Regina raised her arm to magick away all the debris around them.

It happened for only a second but you saw her wince the moment she raised her hand. “Let me see your arm.”

One Day At a Time

Reader loves Regina, but Regina and Robin are together. How will she handle this? How will this end? Will she reveal her feelings?

Regina x Reader

Edited by @marril96

It hurt to admit it, but they were good together. You watched from the end of the counter at Granny’s as Regina and Robin sat in a booth eating lunch together. Regina smiled at something Robin said. A tiny smile tugged at the corner of your lips, but your heart ached. It was strange, how you went from being happy that Regina was happy to feeling almost physical pain because it wasn’t with you. For a while, you’d hoped that maybe she would be happy with you. She almost had been. But with Robin in the picture, and how happy she was with him, you knew that wasn’t going to happen.

“They make a good couple, don’t they?” a voice asked, interrupting your thoughts.

Oooft okay I have some prompts for Regina mills x female reader if u r okay with writing smut lmao could u do one prompt of "Remember that thing you did to me last night? I'm wet just thinking about it" and maybe like the next day Emma teases her about how flustered she is around Regina and she doesn't even know they are hooking up? (Write it if u wanna lmao)

Here you are Anon. I hope you like it!

You were sitting in an armchair, your fingers drawing meaningless patterns on the soft leather of the arm. You were staring into the flickering flames of the fire, bottom lip caught between your teeth. You were waiting for the sound of the front door, your thighs pressed tightly together. You shifted in your seat.

A loud bang in the front entrance let you know Regina was home. You turned your head, waiting for her to come find you. The seconds grew longer and longer, drawn out in tortuous anticipation.

“Why are you sitting in the dark?”

Soft fingers ran over the back of your neck as she moved into the light. You looked up, her face shrouded in shadows. All you could see was her lips, a smile growing as she looked down at you. You were sure you must look a picture, face flushed, eyes wide, lip bitten.

“Have you been waiting for me?”

If you like this fic, requests are open rn!!

Annoying
Let me know if you like this because this is my first post on Tumblr. I've written one shots before but I barely post then.
Brief synopsis: Just a directionless drabble I started writing.
Reader can't sleep so they decide to make it EVERYBODY'S problem.
Also imagine the bed is MASSIVE like a king size, big enough to comfortably fit three people.
Warnings: none but they like to playfully insult and mock one another so if that's not your ideal relationship dynamic please scroll.

"We need a catchphrase, like Emma's parents." Y/n spoke.

Regina groaned. It was 1am and the three of them had been trying to sleep despite the summer heat for about an hour now and just as she had felt herself dozing off, one of her lovely yet really annoying girlfriends had ruined her chance.

Emma didn't even make a sound. She figured, if I ignore her, she'll have to sleep, right?.

She was wrong. Y/n took the silence as an invitation to sit up, leaning her back against the velvet headboard and looking from one disgruntled woman to the other.

"You know how they've got that thing where when they see each other again after thinking they've lost each other they say 'I will always find you'. Yeah? We need a catchphrase like that. We've had so many near death experiences and we're bound to have more."

"Oh, we're doing this now?" Regina asked, flipping her body so she was on her stomach, resting her elbows on the mattress and her head in her raised hands so she could look at Y/n directly.

Despite how pretty she looked, and how harmless you'd think she'd be in such a sleepy state, she had daggers in her eyes. Y/n bit her lip to hide a cocky grin. It was mean but she loved irritating her stern short-tempered girlfriend.

Emma barely moved from her position on her back, but lifted a hand to rub Y/n's thigh gently.

"We can talk about that tomorrow, baby, but for now let's just go to bed, okay?" She mumbled, her voice thick with lethargy.

Regina raised her eyebrow and turned to look at Emma. Neither of them were particularly into pet names, it was mostly the overly energetic Y/n who would call them all sorts of names: Honey, Darling, Baby, The Most Beautiful Women In All The Land Whom I Am So Grateful To Call My Girlfriends, Angel, Love, etc. She knew what Emma was doing when she said that, so she decided to join in as well since Y/n usually took her scolding as a challenge and she was reportedly "cute when you're mad out your mind".

"We can't think of a catchphrase, love, it has to come naturally." Regina drawled, even forcing a yawn to elicit one from Y/n.

To her surprise, it worked. Y/n was still stubborn though.

Y/n tried to babble on, powering through her tiredness. "Come on, you think Snow and Charming didn't rehearse that in their heads before one of them said it for the first time. They barely knew each other the first time they said it! Which one of them said it first again, Emma?" She whipped her head around to Emma before she looked back at Regina, "And how would they know to say "always" the very first time they said it. You mean to tell me they nearly lost each other for the first time and their first thought was, 'well, I'm ready for a lifetime of this'? No! They definitely fantasised about saying it to someone and they took the opportunity to use it in real life."

Regina forced a smile, rattling her head with what to say. Y/n's tired thoughts barely even made sense and she had used the word "first" more times in 2 minutes then she had the past year. It was Emma who abruptly sat up in the bed and put her head in her hands, realising playing dead wouldn't work.

Y/n folded her arms and stared at Emma's back nervously. She liked to annoy them, but she didn't like to push them that far to the edge.

"I'm sorry, darling." Y/n said, gently dragging Emma's body closer to hers, hugging her from behind. "I just can't sleep and you know how I get with my late night thoughts."

Regina sat up this time. She was on her knees, sitting on her heels with her hands on her hips, glaring at the two of them in mock anger.

"So when you annoy Emma, she gets cuddles and an apology, but when you annoy me, you just laugh and take it further?"

Emma and Y/n looked at each other before laughing, the sound disturbing the gentle night.

"You're annoyed all the time, Regina." Y/n rolled her eyes, feeling Emma lean back into her body and relax more.

"Yeah, need I remind you how yesterday, when I used up the rest of your cinammon, you manually removed all the gas from my car?" Emma added, making Y/n shake more with laughter.

"Manually? She didn't even use- magic? She must have been- she must have been really mad to do that." Y/n stuttered, wheezing at this point and squeezing Emma tightly.

"It wasn't the fact you used up the rest of the cinammon it was the fact you put the empty jar back on the spice rack! If you use something up then let me know or replace it." Regina exclaimed, "that's a perfectly normal rule that most households follow."

"Yeah yeah yeah now do you wanna get in here or not?" Y/n grinned, holding Emma to her chest with one hand now and reaching towards Regina with the other.

"I don't know if I should. I don't know if you guys appreciate me enough to deserve it." Regina rolled her eyes, but there was a smile fighting to expose itself.

Emma suddenly reached up and yanked her other girlfriend, holding her by the waist and pulling her on top of her body, before settling back down into Y/n's arms. Emma and Regina smiled at each other before closing their eyes, Regina burying her head in that crook between Emma's neck and shoulder. Emma kissed her head before reaching up to kiss Y/n's chin.

Y/n closed her eyes too before snapping them open again.

"I never realised how long this bed was."

"Shut up, y/n." Emma retorted jokingly.

Y/n shuffled nervously, not wanting to disturb the peace her girlfriends had just found again, but realising she couldn't sleep sitting up.

"Guys... I think my neck will cramp up if I sleep like this."

"You deserve it." Regina snapped, but wrapped her arms around Emma's waist, holding them both up as Y/n slid herself down to the bed, her head resting on a proper pillow once again.

Emma put her hands on Regina's elbows and held her, thinking she was going to move them so they fell asleep next to Y/n. Without a moment's hesitation, Regina leaned forward, forcing both hers and Emma's bodies on top of the chatty woman. Emma and Regina chuckled a little at Y/n's small "ow, hey!"

"Your punishment." She said briefly, pecking Y/n's shoulder before returning her head to its rightful position on Emma's shoulder.

"Oh, you think this is a punishment for me? I love this." Y/n wrapped her arms around Emma again. "My beautiful girls. I love you, you know?"

"I love you too, but it's 1 o clock in the morning." Emma said, too tired to really add more.

"I'll love you more if you let me sleep." Regina bribed, and after that Y/n finally gave them peace.

For the night.

To love an ordinary woman never felt so magical

Regina Mills x Fem reader

In such a small town like Storybrooke, the rumours spread fast. You couldn't say it didn't hurt because it did in an inexplicable way, and for days, weeks even, you had tried your best to turn a blind eye to the voices, in the hope that the pain would have subsided. Yet it never did. You spent a lot of your time reclused in your little cottage, occasionally going out to grab something to eat at Granny's, purposefully avoiding Regina's house and those places she was used to attend. Sometimes you took strolls into the woods, towards the fine line of the city. Nobody would have heard your cries there. You spent a lot of time sitting right in the middle of the street, where the Storybrooke sign stood on the roadside. You couldn't deny having thought about stepping further, over the line. The temptation both sweet and bitter. Your foot swayed back and forth, as you bit down on your bottom lip and held back those tears clouding your vision. You were tempted to leave everything behind, to embrace the unknown. Having your memories refreshed and allow yourself a fresh start. Maybe forgetting Regina would have helped you move on, and who knows, maybe you'd have found love in someone else. Not that you wanted to, but you couldn't bring yourself to stay there and watch as the love of your life fell in love with someone else.

And with Regina, there was Henry too.

You grew fond of that kid. When he grew up, you stood there for him, becoming a strong female presence in his life, however, only second to Regina and Emma's, his true mothers. You were just a friend, a family's friend, that stupidly enough ended up falling in love with the one and only Regina Mills.

The city couldn't seem to stop talking about how the relationship between Emma and Regina changed, how they turned from enemies to friends, close friends even. That friendship, according to many of the inhabitants of Storybrooke was destined to shift into something more. As things didn't work out between Robin and Regina, and Emma willing to find Regina's happy ending, being the saviour and all that crap, they inevitably started spending more and more time together. You saw that too, although for days, you didn't want to. It was right in front of your eyes, how Regina's eyes shimmered in Emma's presence. How she teased her, how the blonde was always at her place, perched on her couch, between her and her son, watching movies or playing videogames to the joy of Regina's ears. The time you used to spend alone with Regina slowly reduced. It was always you, her, and Emma. You missed your exclusivity with Regina, exclusivity in terms of friendship, that then turned into something deeper.

You loved when it was just the two of you. Selfishly enough, you wanted it to be just the two of you, but you weren't a bad person, and you'd have done nothing to stop Regina for falling in love with someone else. A part of you knew that's what she deserved, that for so long she had craved. And it made sense as well. She and Henry's birth mother. It was honestly the best fairytale you could think of. A fairytale you had no place to be.

So, you started avoiding her, missing her calls, ignoring her messages, occasionally answering curtly. You declined her invitations at her place, and you spent more and more time alone. You felt sorry for Henry, as he kept looking for you too, but you at least allowed the kid to spend time with you, meeting at the park or at the library. Your eyes, once glimmering with life and light, turned greyish. Your skin too, seemed to have lost its natural colour, but you didn't care much about that.

Your phone buzzed, startling you from your thoughts. You let out a groan, before picking it up to check who it was. The image of Henry's popped up on the screen with a huge grin upon his face. It put a smile on your face, since you cared deeply about the kid, yet you knew it was best for you to start detaching more firmly, from both him and Regina to allow yourself a fresh start. Tiredly, you accepted the call, squeezing the phone against your ear and staged a falsely happy tone.

"Hello kid, what's up?", you said with fake enthusiasm. The sadness vailing your voice was evident, along with the tiredness that had seemed to suck the life out of you the past few weeks.

On the other side of the phone, you didn't expect a female voice, answering, "So you pick up my son's calls, but not mine", she spat coldly, however you knew her sudden bitterness was nothing but fear and uncertainty, "can you tell me why you keep avoiding me?"

Your heart skipped a beat. With your eyes wide open and your mouth partially agape, a part of you felt glad it was her. Listening to her voice was both a curse and a blessing, a pain that brought you joy, that you were willing to experience just a little bit longer. You should have known it would have come to this. Regina wasn't one to give up so easily and you should have expected her to try other ways to get to talk to you. The silliest way was through Henry's phone.

You bowed your head and ran your fingers through your hair, "Regina, hi", you tried casually, "I've... I've been busy and I was planning to reach out to you but...", you stuttered, as you tried to make up an excuse that sounded at least for mid credible. Her bitter chuckle as response to your babbling proved you that it wasn't necessary to try. She didn't believe you. Not one bit. She could always figure out when you were lying; a skill that became inconvenient for you, but at the same time adorable.

"Spare me the lies. I thought you knew me better than that", her voice sounded harsher than intended. She breathed from her nostrils and clung to her phone, fingers whitening at the gesture. You could almost picture her, in one of her outstanding outfits, always on point, always perfect in your eyes. Her red plump lips pursed in both anger and confusion, perfectly matching her fine polished nails. You knew every facet of her, every detail, what she liked and what she deeply displeased, and the fact that she was even questioning if you knew her, brought a humorous scoff out of you.

You swept your tongue between your lips and hopped on the bed behind you, letting your body being welcomed by the embrace of a bed whose sheets hadn't been changed in a long time, "Oh trust me, I do. The real question is, do you know me, Gina?", you didn't know where you found the strength to be so bold with the person you loved the most, yet you had nothing else to lose. You felt stupid to fire daggers at her for no reason, but maybe if she had hated you, it would have been easier for both of you to turn page and move on to a new chapter.

Silence followed for a couple of seconds. A silence that felt like cold blood running in your veins. "What... what is that supposed to mean?", her voice quivered a little. You bit your inner cheek to the point that you tasted your blood on your tongue. You hurt her. Her pain always had a way to cause you twice as that. You couldn't bear it. Another reason why you were certain the best choice for you was to leave her alone, let her be with her true love. "You're my best friend", she added confusedly; her tone faltering a little bit, "I know you better that anyone else in this town!", she wanted to prove her point, however, her voice was cracked by insecurity and those sobs that threatened to spill from her mouth.

A bitter grin cracked your lips along with a louder sigh, Regina didn't fail to hear, "Best friends, yes. We have been for a while", you muttered sadly, lips pursued in resignation. You didn't realize you were crying, until you felt your own tears melting on your lips, salty and hot.

Regina shook her head, her heavy breaths echoing through the phone, being the loudest sound audible, "I don't know what's wrong with you, but I'm coming over, and don't tell me you're busy", and before you could object, leaving her name in the midair, she hung up the phone and you let out a load grown.

"Fuck!", you hissed and a bunch of seconds after, a cloud of purple smoke appeared before you.

"Language, darling", she scolded you softly, earning an eye roll out of you.

The mess she saw in your normally tidy room surprised her. There were clothes scattered on the chairs and on the bed. Tidy ones mixed with dirty ones. A couple of empty bottles of beer lied on the floor next to the bed and a half full one stood on the nightstand, along with a bunch of pills, she thought were to combat migraines. She frowned visibly, as she scanned the room, carefully. Taken aback by the documents scattered on the cabinet in front of the window, she lightly shook her head in disbelief. You didn't look at her, too much of a coward to do so.

"Y/n, what's the meaning of this?", her voice cracked at the sight of an open luggage, partly hidden under your king-sized bed, with a couple of shirts thrown inside, a bottle of shampoo and other common things. You moved a strand of hair from your face, sniffling.

Her head slowly turned towards you, "Please, answer me", her voice was filled with both pain and incredulity. You couldn't look at her, despite being so drawn to do so. You'd have crumbled down otherwise. You felt, however, every inch of your body prone towards her. She was magnetic, Regina. You rolled your shoulders, a slight panic started rising within you shaken figure, "I... I don't know Gina, I thought I might..."

"You thought you might?", she took a step towards you, her eyes narrowed in confusion, tears welling up in her ears, "That's your answer? You thought you might? Why on the earth would you do such a thing, without telling me or anyone for the matter. Leaving for how long? A day, a week, a month?", she sounded mad and desperate, even if sadness was the main feeling troubling her heart.

You still avoided her gaze and focused your attention on the pale wall of your room, holding back the tears shimmering in your sore eyes, "I know, I should have mentioned that. And I was...", your voice sounded so empty, so unlike you that Regina wondered if it was really you, she was talking to. And she cursed herself for being so blind, for letting so much time pass before acknowledging something was troubling your heart. Henry had mentioned something was off, but she didn't want to see. She didn't want to admit to herself something might be bothering you. Too scared that somehow saying it would make it real.

"It's best for everyone if I leave. I need to get away from here to allow your happy ending", you confessed in such a thin voice. Regina was tempted to take you in her arms right there, but your sudden cold and distant demeanour kept her standing there, so close to you, yet so far away.

The brunette shook her head in disbelief, "I really don't understand. My happy ending requires you to leave the town? Since when?", she asked sarcastically, placing her hands on the hips, not really knowing what to do with them as they kept shaking. Her fingers twinkled and itched. She couldn't hold the trembling of her feet, as she kept swaying her weight from one to another. Silent tears streamed down your face, when she approached and took your hand in hers, offering you a squeeze that felt like a soothing electricity. Her scent inebriated your senses, making you feel both dizzy and on cloud nine. "Regina, please, don't make this so hard on me. I'm not as brave as you are", your voice filled with so much pain managed to break Regina's heart at once. She had never seen you so broken before. Your body started shaking, as you squeezed your eye shut, immediately picturing the image of Regina smiling down at you portraying a bunch of memories with her. Your shared meals, the movie nights, sleepless night spent chatting and gossiping about anyone and everyone in town.

God, if you had missed that.

Regina's hand came stroking your cheek tenderly, "Now listen to me. I don't know what kind of ideas are going through your head right now and lately, but I won't fulfil my happy ending if you leave the town. Not even remotely, do you hear me?", she sounded so serious, yet you knew she couldn't be. Emma was her happy ending, not you. You were... just a friend. And being friend with her wasn't enough anymore for you.

You shook your head, and blinked off some tears that were making it hard for you to distinguish shapes before you, "I see everyone getting their happy ending, but I can't get mine here. I've tried, I swear, Regina, I did", you cried and whimpered. Your eyes getting sore and puffy. Regina kept shaking her head, hushing you gently and trying to collect the pieces of your sudden broken soul. You reminded her of herself, when she lost the first love of her life, Daniel. You appeared so small and so fragile, your eyes screamed for help in a disarming way, "but it's impossible for me to find happiness here and you worked too hard to have your happiness destroyed".

The former Evil Queen found herself at a loss of words. Confusion was written all over her features. Her red plump lips cracked in a grimace, exposing the tiny scar to the freshly new tears she let go at your words, "Destroyed? What... what are you talking about?", still not looking at her, she took the reins of your willpower and cupped your face, begging you. "Please, y/n, I'm trying to understand what I've done wrong. Don't shut me out like this", she continued stroking you with so much tenderness, that hurt like a dagger in your chest. You were going to miss her like crazy. If eyes could talk, they would scream their pure love and affection with extreme ease.

Little did you know that Regina Mills loved you too.

When you looked into her eyes, you saw your broken reflection, "If you hold on to someone too much, Gina, it doesn't make them love you back", you whimpered sadly, altering your gaze from her eyes and lips, sending hints to what you were feeling. The brunette took a long shaky breath, her mascara melting at the pain you were giving her. You were destroying her happiness by breaking her heart, but you knew that the true happy ending was given by a love, not by a friend, and Emma being the saviour, would have picked up the pieces.

"I don't want you to leave. I've already paid for my past mistakes, and I don't want to pay anymore", you frowned sightly to that, swallowing a lump that came tightening your throat, "Don't let me lose you too, I care about you, okay?".

"I- I can erase your memories", you tried, attempting a tiny little smile, "Both yours and mine, and Henry's if you want me to. You have a family here, Regina. Emma can give you what you deserve and-".

Regina erupted in a bitter laughter, almost hysterical. It wasn't an amused one, it was the most desperate one you've ever heard coming out of her. She was mad and you knew it. Her magic, as she touched you, clung to you almost possessively and angrily. It sent you tiny little electric shocks, however you didn't move away, thinking you deserved those. Whatever she wanted to throw at you, bad or good that it was, you welcomed it till the very last bit.

"You're insane. You're absolutely insane, my God. Erase my memories? You want me to forget about you? You'd do this to me or Henry?", she grabbed you by your shoulders, squeezing you with that those negative feelings that resembled a lot those of the Evil Queen. A flame flashed through her eyes, something you saw when she first met Emma Swan, wanting nothing more than to get rid of her. "I thought you cared about us. I thought you loved...", she stopped, a chocking sob impeding her to finish her sentence, "For fuck's sake, y/n. How can you be so stupid?"

Rage mixed with desperation and her magic flashed through her dark orbs in purple flames.

"Regina, of course I care about you!", you said convincedly.

"It wouldn't seem so, considering you're planning to sneak out of my life with so much ease!"

"Ease?", you scoffed dramatically. You stood up and started walking back and forth, hands closing into fists and your hair swaying and portraying the storm inside your heart. This time you sustained her gaze, wanting her to know how hard it was for you, how deep your passion was eating you from inside out. "Regina, I'm in a lot of pain here. It's so deep that it's killing me. So don't act like you know me if you can't catch this detail. I understood it's the right choice to step aside, and you know why? Because I care deeply about you and Henry, but God help me, I'm not the right person for the two of you".

"The right person? Y/n, what are you talking about?", Regina seemed discouraged, however, resignation wasn't for someone like her. Not ever. Her heart swelled with so much love, it felt like exploding inside her chest. She stood still, trying to reach out and grasp your arm, but you moved away when she touched you, "y/n, please, sit down with me. Let's talk, alright?"

"What's the point?", you whimpered tiredly, and let yourself slide on the floor. Lifting your knees, you placed your elbows there and buried your face in your hands, "It hurts, Regina. It hurts to see the love of your life falling in love with someone else".

Regina Mills offered you a broken smile. For long she had thought of telling you what she truly felt towards you, without ever bringing herself to, for fear that her feelings wouldn't be reciprocated. She even talked to Emma about that, asking for advice on how bring out the topic in the best way possible. That's why rumors spread, but you couldn't know that. For a while, she cowardly thought that having you as best friend was the closest and purest form of relationship she could have dreamed of, so she guarded it fiercely, because the thought of losing you would have caused her a pain from which she would never healed.

"And who this someone else would be, since I'm only in love with you?", she spoke with softness, as she bent down before you, her face a few inches from yours.

She unclasped your hands, exposing your face to her. You blinked repeatedly, as the remaining tears slid down your face and neck. Your mouth fell agape, and you probably assumed a very dumb expression because the woman in front of you let out one of the most beautiful chuckles that tickled your entire being from head to toe. Incredulity mixed with overwhelming joy swelled your heart.

"W-what? Regina, what are you saying?", you stuttered, as she racked her fingertips through your hair, moving some from your forehead, behind your ears, "I thought you and Emma...I mean it's reasonable, you're both Henry's moms".

She gave you a skeptical look, her eyebrow raised dramatically, "Emma? You thought she and I were a thing?", she couldn't help laughing more at that. A soft one, not intended to make fun of you, but a liberating one for having found out you reciprocated her love.

You looked at her dumbfounded.

"Sure, the things between us improved considerably and the town noticed that, also the wish to strangle her subsided considerably, mainly for the sake of my son, but loving her? That would be too far, even for the best of redemptions", she said, gently wiping your face with her thumbs. She came closer. Her nose almost brushing against the tip of yours as her hot breath tickled your face in pure bliss.

"You... you love me?", you dared to ask appalled.

Regina felt the weight of her sentiment for you so heavy on her chest, that as soon as she timidly nodded her head, felt so much lighter and easier to carry. What she saw in your eyes was the proof that true love existed, that Snow's words about hope and belief made sense. There were different paths to take, each of them sending her on her way to happiness.

"Please, say it".

"You're insufferable, you know that, right?", she said defensively, to your lips.

"Regina, please...", you asked again.

She sighed lightly; however, you could see the sparkle shimmering in her dark orbs. Her face turned into a cute hue of pink, perfectly molding with her strawberry lips, "If that confession will keep you here with me, then fine", with an eye roll, she continued, "I do, y/n. I do love you".

A moment of silence followed, as you tried your best to process those words. You had got it all wrong from the beginning, "Holy shit!", you chuckled in disbelief. Regina's eyes flushed to look at you, her lips turning upwards in an amused smile that betrayed her attempt to hide the disappointment towards your choice of words. She honestly couldn't care less now, having made a greater treasure trove herself that day.

"Indeed, my darling", she gently stroked your forehead, and then slid her fingers over your cheeks and chin, grabbing it teasingly, "I can't believe you were about to leave me just out of a stupid rumor spread in town", she shook her head, and bit down her bottom lip.

You mentally cursed yourself, "I think we both can affirm that I make questionable choices when brain and heart aren't connected".

With a nod of her head, she agreed, "That would be true, yes".

"Regina?", you later whispered, heart still drumming in your chest.

"Hmm?", she scooped you closer. And you let her. Her arms wrapped protectively around your waist, and you let your shoulders relax as she started stroking your back.

A timid voice came out of you, "what happens now?"

She thought for a moment, however, she already knew the answer to that, "Now we spread the right rumor in town", she said with a slowly growing mischievous smile, "It never was about Emma and I", she tightened her hold around you, making your heart skip a beat.

You had never been this close to Regina, you found yourself thinking.

"Now I feel partially stupid.", bowing your head, you felt a wave of guilt rushing over you.

She lifted your chin, still smiling softly at you, "What about the other half?", she commented jokingly, trying to make you laugh.

"Regina...", you half scolded her, however the amused grin on your face betrayed you.

She placed her soft plump lips upon the angle of our mouth, lingering extra seconds, and feeling her magic unleash an energy so powerful around her and the room. You felt that too, warm, and soft like velvet. When she pulled away, she leaned her forehead against yours, "Come to my place for dinner tonight? We should talk about... us".

You sighed contentedly; however, you were craving for a proper contact, "I'd absolutely love that, but do we really have to wait tonight to... kiss?", you asked so cutely and innocently that Regina found herself laughing. She allowed a hint of a smirk as she grabbed your chin and shook her head in a silent reply.

You swallowed and a hue of pink came on your cheeks when her lips crashed against yours. By that single touch you could feel your heart beating in your ears, your skin tingling and your eyes going wide open, so that you could see it, proving to yourself, it was happening and not only inside your head.

Regina Mills was kissing you. Regina Mills was purposefully choosing to love you.

As you kissed back, you felt her scar trapped in your mouth. Her tongue crashed and danced with yours, in a sweet game of dominance, you were more than willing to lose. Hands were all over each other, touching, feeling, and stroking with deep love. Her hands holding you tighter by your waist, as you pulled her closer circling her neck. So lost in the moment, when she pulled away to catch her breath, you were at a loss for words. She saw it on your face, the look of pure bliss and incredulity, that caused her to giggle warmly. She couldn't think she could fall even more just by looking at you.

She grazed her thumb upon your lip and chin, "There is some lipstick on your face", she commented amusedly, and you stood there, smiling like an idiot, letting her touch you, letting her do whatever she wanted to.

we always find a way (to make it out alive) | m.s.s.

Summary: beacon hills holds a lot of bad memories for you. you're still not sure how you let yourself be persuaded to go back.
pairing: Stiles Stilinski x werewolf!reader
warning: reader's parents die, mention of guns
word count: 8,8k (don't even ask, I don't know how it happened)
author's note: hello. i don't want to talk about this, i somehow vomited 8k worth of words about stiles. leave a like/reblog bestie. also, don't forget to come into my inbox to yell at me. thank you to charlotte @stilinskiderek for witnessing my teen wolf obsession rebirth and for listening to my occasional rant.

“We’re going to need to leave in five minutes if you don’t want to be late.”

Theo was standing in the threshold of your room, leaning against the doorframe, his arms crossed. You merely glanced over at him, not even moving an inch. Your feet were resting comfortably on top of your desk as the book you were reading was in your lap.

“I was waiting for you. Wasn’t me who was standing in front of the mirror fixing my hair for like the tenth time. I’ve never seen you this nervous,” you commented dryly, swinging your legs off the desk and standing up.

“I’m not nervous,” Theo said defensively, ducking his head when you reached out to mess up his hair. “I’m just… Tense. It’s weird to be back here.”

“Oh, please. Don’t lie to me. I know you’re nervous and I know why, even though I don’t understand it. It’s just Scott and Stiles.”

“Really.”

You ignored Theo’s pointed look in your direction and turned to put your book in your backpack instead. While Theo was ecstatic to be back in your old stomping grounds, it took him and your brother a while to persuade you to return with them. Your life in Salvador was exactly what you had been building up to, why would you leave it to go back to Beacon Hills? The only thing that you remembered from here was the death of your parents and getting your heart broken in fourth grade. It was safe to say that you weren’t eager to return.

“Aren’t you super nervous to finally see the love of your life again?” Theo teased in a high pitched voice, as predictable as he was, and you only shouldered past him roughly, walking out into the hallway with your backpack in hand. Theo was quick to follow, pestering you for an answer.

“I don’t know who you’re talking about,” you said lightly.

“Oh come on!”

Best Friend

Yeah, I know this trope has been done to death, but tough! This was supposed to be about 2,000 words at most, and kept growing, so... oops?

Word count: 5,166

You didn’t know why you were even remotely surprised by your current situation. No matter what promises your best friend made to you — which he had done, repeatedly — you should have known you were always going to wind up like this. Sitting in the cold, waiting for him in his shitty Jeep — sorry Roscoe — while he was doing God knows what with her. Ella. Again.

He had promised from the bottom of his heart that we would be out of work on time, and would be more than happy to give you a lift home, as you had an early start the following morning, and it would be much quicker for him to take you than for you to endure the wonders of the public transportation system. Yeah, right.

In all likelihood he had completely forgotten that he had even offered. Seemingly all thought of anything but Ella went out of his head the moment he saw her, so in reality, you only had yourself to blame. You could have hotwired the car and just left him there in the dust, just to see how he felt about being forgotten, but you’d never do that to him. It wasn’t why you’d been forced to learn how to do it in the first place anyway. That had more to do with the ignition not working properly and half the time it was the only way to get the damn car to start.

Never have I ever - Stiles Stilinski Imagine

Author: @sweet-pea-channie

Pairing: Stiles Stilinski x fem!reader

Words: 4,7k+

Warnings: underage drinking, spicy questions, oral (f receiving), fingering, slight begging, swearing, overstimulation

Requested by @moumouton4: I have a request It’s a Stiles x fem!reader and the pack are having a party and they are playing a drinking game where they ask each other questions and people who have already done the thing have to drink, but as the game progresses the questions get more sexual “Who did it in a car? Who did it in high school? ) and Stiles and Y/n drink every time but no one knows they are together, and the suspicious ones ask more and more direct questions to make them confess

AN: This was so much fun to write! AAAAAH. Also I was struggling with myself, because I didn’t know if I should make it smutty or not, so I decided to go with that. I really hope you like it! :)

“Okay, never have I ever cheated on a test,” Lydia said and waited for everyone’s reaction.

“C’mon, Lydia. That’s boring,” Malia groaned as she leaned back into her chair.

“Well, I have never. So I don’t have to drink,” Lydia said proudly and told you to hurry up with a single hand motion.

You couldn’t help but sigh as you reached for your glass and lifted it in the air. “Well…”

Everyone else reached for their glasses as well and all took a sip. They definitely hadn’t imagined these questions when Kira suggested playing Never Have I Ever.

The party at Lydia’s was in full swing after Mason had once again shown up with half the school, and so you had looked for a "quiet” corner outside in front of the pool under the canopy. Even Liam and Mason, who were actually now almost responsible for the party, had joined you. And of course Mason was the first one who thought that Kira’s suggestion was perfect and had started directly with a statement. But if the questions would remain so normal, you were sure that soon everybody would be very drunk. Well, everyone for whom alcohol at least had an effect.

“Okay, okay, how about this? Never have I ever made out in the janitor’s closet,” Malia said and looked at Lydia. Because it was clear to everyone that this time, our strawberry blonde friend had to drink. Lydia just rolled her eyes and drank without saying a word. Stiles also reached for his glass, followed by Scott and Kira.

“Who the fuck did you make out with in the janitor’s closet?” asked Scott Stiles, before looking at Malia, who shook her head.

“Um…,” Stiles stammered, trying to come up with a lie that his best friend wouldn’t notice. “This isn’t truth or dare.”
