it’s then that he feels a hand take his own again. he could tell it was his boyfriend, his love, his everything. so isaac calms down... or well, he slips way under. causing the paramedics to need diego to let go as they start CPR. isaac is flat lining and he can feel it. it was dark, cold... he hated it. so he tried to come back, tried to fight. not that he would have any idea if that were possible.
at least not until two days later, when he finally wakes up in a bright white room. blue eyes squint at the world around him for several minutes before he can really see again. he’s frantic again, thinking about diego. so isaac is struggling to sit up, his heart rate monitor alarming loudly. the nurses rush in to calm him, offer a sedative to which he angrily declines. “i want-- diego!” he finally sees his love, startling awake next to him. again isaac calms, as diego takes his hand.
