heya, that's super high praise ^_^ my day's alright I guess. I'm super busy and stressed out about college assignments because they NEVER STOPPPPPPPP ;((((
I have no clue when chapter 27 is coming out. Half of it has been written already but I'm too overwhelmed at the moment to even open that document. I haven't gone on Twitter in ages for the same reason.
I wish I could be more consistent and give you a better answer but I can't. I wish I had the time and energy to keep my passion project going but I don't right now. When I get the time and feel The Urge, I'll let y'all know. Thanks for being so patient with me :)

I am so so so so so busy. College is freaking hard. Every time I finish a homework set or a research paper or an interview assignment, I barely have time to breathe before I have to do the next one.
I’m fine, just stressed. It means a lot to me that you’re checking in, Anon <3 Also I realize I make college sound like a hellish workscape — it really isn’t! I’ve made some awesome new friends here and love living on my own. Very cool stuff. It just means fandom things fall by the wayside :/

red is the color of flowers and ash
of anger and passion and child-like brash
of a boy who dawns his crimson-striped tee
and spends each night sobbing:
“why was it me?”
orange is the color of mangos and health
of excitement and fire and courage in self
of a flame-flickered human searching for signs
of his former best friend
whose heart has long-died
yellow’s the color of sunshine and song
of a girl who baked pastries that now are all gone
of a landmark the burned with a satisfied roar
as the smoking trunk crashed
on a dead nation’s floor
green is the color of dark button-ups
of a kid with wide eyes who gains power abrupt
of snow-coated grass and a new goal in life

lime is the color of nature and earth
of land sought out and marked as his terf

brown is the color of warmth and a home

that pushes him so
when it speaks; he believes
black is the color of the stars in the sky
because his city drowns out all the light they provide
he’s been naive before; so attachments he'll fling
even if means
discarding their ring
white is the color of innocence clean
of a boy who chose people over sides and their things
of a blank whiteboard to be molded like clay
and lessons to teach
if he wants to be okay
and so here you are, a mixture of all
you're blue or you're green and you follow along
you watch as the land is ravaged by war

is pick which color you're for.

Haunted was a labor of love for me. It was cathartic to write and was my way of projecting a lot of my feelings onto these characters to whom I've grown attached over the past year. As someone who suffers from depression, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts, I really wanted to write a fic about forgiveness and thought that the AHS-style setting lent itself particularly well to the sort of plot I'd envisioned.
This ask hit me straight in the feels. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me — I appreciate it so, so much. All the love <3 <3 <3
