We aren't strong because we face hardships, we were strong long before challenges entered our lives.
Crying is not weakness; it is your heart, overflowing.
My Religion Has No Name
It has taken two decades to find my beliefs and find the comforts and truths in them.
I thought having no religion meant I was lost; I had no compass in which to guide myself with. Who was I without the fundamental truths of a god?
But I did not need a god to know my truths, they were there the whole time, I had just not unearthed them yet; they were buried deep under insecurities and social pressures that no longer hold me.
MY religion has no name; I do not need labels to feel connected to my beliefs.
MY religion has no house; my place of worship is wherever I am.
MY religion does not hold anyone to my truths accept for me, I will not push my truths onto someone else; it is not my job to tell you how to Love.
Some of MY truths are:
I believe in the interdependency of all things,
I believe all life is sacred,
I believe all living things have a soul,
I believe in the healing power of Love,
I believe in the nature of things,
I believe in Empathy,
I believe there is something beyond ourselves.
However YOU believe and whatever the name of your religion; I wish for you happiness, and an abundance of Love.

There I was
I once was a constellation Time forgot. Strung together From lights that have been burning out. And you only sought me, When it was too dark for even the moon to hang; When you couldn’t find purchase on your sun. And the sky seemed empty; There I was.
