This war has to stop. Israel is stopping aid from getting into Gaza and people are starving.

Iโ€™ve known Ayelet for over twenty years, and am now, as so often, proud of her. Hereโ€™s her husband, Michaelโ€™s Instagram, with more background and information.

Iโ€™m so angry at the number of people who have commented on my chronic pain posts like โ€œI donโ€™t have chronic pain so I donโ€™t count but I do have chronic migraines-โ€œ

thatโ€™s chronic pain. thatโ€™s specifically the type of chronic pain Iโ€™m referring to.

and Iโ€™m absolutely not mad at those people, not in the slightest, but Iโ€™m furious at everyone and society as a whole thatโ€™s convinced them that they donโ€™t count, that chronic migraines arenโ€™t a genuinely debilitating form of chronic pain and disability.

migraines are chronic pain and have significant impacts on your life and you deserve to have that validated and not brushed off as โ€œother people have it worseโ€ or โ€œnot a real disability.โ€

i get people donโ€™t like to pay for things that were once free. but paying people fairly and making a survivable living while making cool things is HARD. even with ads. i think what the fellows are cooking up will be well worth it tbh!!!

I love to support creators who support usโ€” but Watcher has given us a monetary goal post that is continually moving forward from merch to Patreon to tours to subscription based models.

It also troubles me how other prominent YouTubers with similar employees have come out against Watcher, such as Charlie, to argue that this โ€œsurvivable living is hardโ€ argument is doubtful. I understand that the type of content differs, but it casts a distrusting light on the whole ordeal.

Itโ€™s also very ironic to be posting this response on tumblr, a platform packed with folx who support one anotherโ€™s low income struggles and is composed of queer, disabled, and BIPOC creators seeking their own growth. Itโ€™s kind of icky.
