I don’t like those comments on Matt’s instagram

that are like “Stop posting animals!” and “Post a selfie!” We all want to see his face, but like he doesn’t do that. He just doesn’t. Matt wants you to appreciate a banana slug? Then let’s appreciate the hell out of that banana slug. 

He's always so open and vulnerable except one time. And it's not the time people think.

At the wedding, Magnus is not open or vulnerable. He is *defiant* and bold. "I dare you to look at me and then go through with this," his look says. "I dare you to say goodbye to who you are for forever."

And he can't.

I think Magnus wasn't at that wedding only for himself. Magnus went to try to save Alec from making a mistake with his future. He dressed even more flamboyant than usual-- almost as if to remind Alec of all the things that Magnus is. And Alec just couldn't keep pretending. It is a lot like that scene in Moulin Rouge where Satine *has* to sleep with the Duke. She can't. She leaves. She can't do it anymore. Alec can't do it anymore.

malec appreciation fortnight - day 3: favourite malec episode/scene

I mean, I could be obvious and say ‘Malec’ is my favourite episode of theirs. Which…it is. But, there is another episode that is tied with that one. ‘Of Men and Angels’ has a very specific scene that gives me heart palpitations every time. That is when they finally cure Luke. It’s right after Clary gives him the potion, allowing Magnus to stop and Luke to feel better for once. Magnus just falls onto Alec’s chest, unable to stand any longer. He’s tired. Exhausted. Breathless. Magnus glances up at Alec, and he’s in utter awe of the man supporting him. It’s as if he’s seen the sun amidst a brutal storm. And, Alec being who he is, makes sure Magnus is okay. Because, whether he knows it or not, he is beginning to care about this beautiful warlock. It’s a simple, but meaningful scene between them.
