i would love to quickly bring up the parallel between dustin in s2 continuously pressing the button at hawkins lab to open the gate even though the powers out and steve in s3 when the power goes out at starcourt and he continuously flicks on and off the light switch to get the lights back on

People complain about Dustin’s friendships outside of the Party ALL THE TIME and then turn around and say we were robbed of seeing Lucas/Mike/Will/Max/El with Steve/Eddie/Robin.

As a Dustin stan first and foremost, this really irritates the shit out of me.

I hate the way Dustin is treated in this fandom. He’s either treated as an accessory to all of his friends or people are downplaying his relationships and giving his dynamics to other characters.
