DEAR FREE CITIES…. 

A night of music, revelry, and (for some) a step into the ENIGMA DANZA: a partners dance exhibition—one that lays hands (and feet) in the claws of the mad MC. Dare you tempt fate?

What is it?

A pairs-dance contest for short. Teams of two may prepare a number of dance routines to compete in heats to establish dominance through luck, creativity, and rhythm. For, while the theme of music may be given *The songs themselves will be random*, chosen from a generous list.

A roster of several songs will be chosen by the organizers and the contestants will have foreknowledge of this list, but they will not be informed which of them will be used. *Hints may be given on public forums for those with a keen eye*.

  • A Sailor’s Life:  Jargal was put on a ship when he was old enough to walk, and has been a sailor his entire life. He’s spent most of his existence voyaging between The Ruby Sea and Eorzea, making a name for himself and pledging his service to various naval factions along the way.
  • The Lominsan Armada:  The Maelstrom is one of the factions that Jargal is pledged to. After getting increasingly close to certain sailors in Vylbrand, and continuous activity in the region, his talent was recognized by one of the high ranking Maelstrom officials, who coaxed Jargal into joining the The Lominsan Armada. Since then, he’s garnered a reputation for himself, and was promoted to a commissioned officer in their ranks. 
  • The Crimson Trace: Jargal’s extensive accomplishments during the Garlean Campaign did not go unnoticed. As a testament to his general’s appreciation of his work, he was promoted to captain of his crew, and rewarded an eight-gun sloop named The Crimson Trace. He continues his career as a commissioned officer of The Maelstrom, embarking on assignments and voyages issued by The Government of Limsa Lominsa.
  • I’ll Drink To That:  Jargal is the perfect drinking buddy.  He has the alcohol tolerance of a goliath, and many legendary stories to tell.
  • For Hire: Jargal’s services as a sailor are up for hire. He won’t go to lengths that would break Lominsan law, but there is little he isn’t willing to do when it comes to gaining gold. Plunder ships and territory outside the alliance’s borders? Escort your ship between the seas? Trade runs?  He’s up for it, so long as you have the coin.
