How about an AU where All Might decides against putting Midoriya in UA(out of fear that the world would be unkind to someone who obviously has his power but no control over it yet) and instead gives him a personal apprenticeship.
- Midoriya cries when Toshinori tells him, and he sheds a tear or two in sympathy. But the kid isn't ready for UA yet. He passed the exam, but barely, and he severely hurt himself in the process. Not to mention, he heard whispers of disapproval of his acceptance among the other teachers. Perhaps UA isn't ready for him.
- Toshinori hires the best private tutors and personal trainers he can find. They can spend extra time on something when he gets stuck and let him sail past his grade level when he excels. When he's not training his body or mind, he's training his quirk, alongside Toshinori, Gran Torino, and occasionally other heroes he can pull in as a favor.
- Of course, they have to bring Mrs. Midoriya in on it. She's of course upset that a stranger made such a major proposal that her son then accepted without telling her. But she loves how much care and attention Izuku gets. For so many years, he faced unfair treatment she could do nothing about, and now the world's greatest hero treats her boy like a prince. And her a queen. Once she agrees to a job at the Mighty Agency's marketing department, the two of them can move out to Tokyo and spend more time together.
- The best part about an informal schedule is that they can make changes whenever for whatever reason. New movie coming out? Set the first lesson the next day later so they can go to the midnight premiere. Flash sale at a hero store? School day is paused until they can get back. Just having a rough day? Let's both take the day off and spend some time together. In a matter of months, Toshinori has built the perfect life he never with his master had for his boy.
- But Izuku is lonely. He hardly even sees other kids his age, let alone has any friends. Part of the dream of UA was to finally be accepted by his peers. Toshinori still worries they'll hurt him. If not petty cruelty for his lack of control, now jealousy of Izuku's great skill and power. But they won't know unless he tries. They call UA, and make an arrangement for him to join class 1A after summer vacation.

so in an among us game the other night, a player in chat said “does anyone want to get married?”
and bc i was in it for shits and giggles, i said “yes”
he asked where we should get married and i told him we’d meet in comms, which was right at the end of that round. we started the next game, ran to comms together and danced around each other for a minute, which constituted our marriage ceremony. he then proceeded to just run around with me as we did tasks, which amused me to no end, and in out first body report meeting, he exclaimed, “I’M A MARRIED MAN.”
and then, inevitably, an impostor ran right up to us and murdered me. my new video game husband immediately reported my body.
