Cozy Spotlight: Ooblets

Have you ever gotten so addicted to a game that you play it, and only it, for months on end, until finally one day your partner guilts you into popping a different game card into your Switch and you become obsessed with that one instead? Well, @ooblets is that game for me! This cute little creature collection game has a lot more to offer than your typical farming sim, and with a little nudge from my significant other, it was just what I needed to break my Animal Crossing addiction. It's kind of like a cross between PokΓ©mon and Stardew Valley, with elements of both expressed in an original way and charming art style. Throw in some dancing and a whole wacky world of story on top, and you've got yourself an Ooblets addiction. Well, I do, at least.

The Ooblets 1.1 Localization Update is live!! (on Switch & PC)

This adds French, Spanish (LatAm), and German translations to all the game text and dialogue.

If you don't speak any of those languages this update might not sound that exciting, but it was a huge project for us and we're super excited to get more folks playing. From early reports it sounds like the translators did a great job of capturing the spirit of the game, so shout out to the team at Local Heroes!

If you have any feedback about the translations, please feel free to share it with us in our Discord! 🌸🌺🌷

Next, we're going back to focusing on our Springtime Event Update and will hopefully have a more official public roadmap to share with everyone soon.
