Fuck you and your lesser-evilism. I refuse to do the math you want me to. The appropriate level of fascism is zero. If you don't believe that, line up with the fascists and follow your leader.
Why can’t so many leftists understand that saying one option is worse is not saying the other isn’t bad. Yes, Biden is bad in many ways. But we’ve seen project 2025, we’ve seen the behavior of the conservative movement as of late, and if you think Biden is just as bad as that, you are deluding yourself. It sucks, but at this point, for this election, Trump and Biden are the choices we’ve got right now, and if you can look me (or in this case Garfunkle) in the eyes and tell me that you don’t think things would be any worse under Trump, that he wouldn’t have done every bad thing Biden has done and more, then there’s nothing more I can do for you. But the rest of us will grit our teeth and do what it takes to survive the next four years. And before you call me a liberal, I assure you I’m not, I just refuse to put some vague moral virtue signaling over people’s real lives.
