- Zelos is incredibly supportive of the people he cares about, to a point of getting easily frustrated with his loved ones when they put themselves down. He’s firm in the belief that is he thinks you are worth something, then you should to.
- As a person who thrives off of tactile stimulation, Zelos takes great comfort in playing with his own hair. He can often be found mindlessly toying with a curl or a strand at most moments, and if he’s stressed or uncomfortable, the first thing he does is reach for his own hair.
- Zelos’ sleep schedule, simply put, is a mess. He’s a fan of the night life and partying until dawn, but he also is often woken by nightmares and thus, has trouble getting a full night’s sleep. Sometimes, he’ll simply choose to stay up, to save himself the trouble. This has helped him develop a pretty severe dependence on caffeine.
Zelos has a few different vices. Primarily, he enjoys drinking both casually and socially, as well as when things get too heavy for him to handle, emotionally. However, during his teen years he also wasn’t shy about smoking. He mostly did it as a rebellious act, as it annoyed the church and the royal family. he has since kicked the habit and refuses to pick it up again. Ladies like a man that smells nice, not like garbage and smoke.

- Zelos is actually quite fond of dancing. He usually will only do it at parties or with people whose company he genuinely enjoys, but there’s something about the act of dancing, especially partner dancing, that he loves. It helps that he’s also incredibly light on his feet and a fantastic dancer.
- Zelos prefers there to be noise in the background when he’s doing things. It helps him focus, as when there’s silence, the space around him starts to feel oppressive. He’ll often choose to be in occupied spaces or around other people for the sole purpose of being comfortable and able to focus on his chosen task.
- Zelos despises being cold. He has pretty good circulation and doesn’t get cold too easily, but his outfit does little to keep him warm in chilly situations, and he’s not above sneaking cold hands up the back of someone’s shirt to warm up.

zelos is in a surprisingly good mood as he makes his way home, the late day sun slowly making its descent toward the horizon and lengthening the chosen’s shadow on the cobblestone street. of course, he has good reason for his mood. the promise of seeing his significant other is always one that will brighten his spirits, and today is no different as zelos walks with a seemingly hurried gait in the direction of his manor. it’s been a while since he’s gotten any time alone with braig, what with the church’s business and insistence on his presence at functions lately. thus, the bouquet of roses tucked in one arm. if he’s going to greet his beloved for the first time in a number of weeks, he’s going to do it right.
his manor is as tall, lovely and well-maintained as usual, standing the largest in the middle of the street, and zelos wastes no time in climbing the steps and pulling the door open.
“i can’t wait to see you.”
“i missed you so much.”
the words repeat in his head as he steps over the threshold, into the manor eagerly. however, the moment he does, he realizes something is wrong.
sebastian, who’s normally at the door to greet him upon entry, is nowhere to be found. in fact, the foyer of the manor is eerily quiet. normally, at this point in the day, dinner would be well underway in the kitchen, but no food smells reach his senses as he quietly closes the door behind him. the place seems too silent, unsettlingly so.
“hello? braig? sebastian? i’m home!” he calls as he steps further inside, brows furrowing. where was everyone? a quick glance in the kitchen proves his theory that nothing is being cooked, and he does a scan of the butler’s quarters as well, with no luck.
“what the hell...?”
