Father Brown: Out of context
this literally never stops being funny like dog they made starship troopers with the Baby's First Satire cranked up to 11 and these people are still fucking dumbfounded that the creators don't share their politics
For anyone who doesn't play I need you to understand how on the nose this game is.
It's got the whole Warhammer thing of skull iconography but that's just the start.
Military service starts at 7.
Super Earth has a strictly defined caste system.
We are explicitly fighting the bugs because 20 hours after death they break down into oil, which we extract.
The robot menace are trying to rescue their creators the cyborgs, who we've confined to work camps.
The Democracy Officer on the bridge has the right to summarily execute you for antidemocratic thought.
Nobody has participated in an election in centuries, Managed Democracy works by having "a computer make the choice for you".
I could go on but this game works very hard to make it clear we're the baddies.
That's an intentional part of the alt-right grift game. They are selling their marks a narrative about "this is what the progressive have taken from you!", and they don't care if that narrative is based of obvious lies, as any push-back is used as evidence that the "woke crowd" is after them. They are fishing for opposition to manufacture friction and claim victimhood. Meanwhile their audience fully live in the post-truth age and don't care for facts, they just want the outrage. And, well, "the game have been left leaning all along" isn't exactly going to mollify these guys.
I suspect that we are going to see this Grummz fellow, and his ilk quite regularly in the following months. After all it's an election year, and it's time to psych up their people to vote for Trump.
You know when Terry Pratchett said 'It doesn't stop being magic just because you know how it works'? Yeah, he meant this.

El Ojo ‘The Eye’ Island Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
First discovered by Argentinian filmmaker Sergio Neuspiller in 2003, El Ojo is an uninhabited circular rotating floating island located within a slightly larger circular lake in the Paraná Delta in the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. This island is constantly rotating on its own axis due to the flow of the river beneath it. The island was named because of its resemblance to an eye when viewed from above: as the island rotates within its surrounding circular lake, the eye appears to move.
American transfems need to step up their fucking game. We could’ve had a mutually unintelligible dialect by now…

How many people have never used the internet?
Thinking of the larger context of LOTR and like, the fellowship swapping old war stories and shit and Sam just says “Yeah I killed a huge spider…Shelob, I think?”
And Gandalf just blinks and is like, “You what now?”
“Yeah, killed it. Had to save Frodo”
Gandalf elects not to tell Sam that he killed the spawn of a primordial demon.
the daughter of the embodiment of darkness which ate the original sun and moon and almost ate the devil.
That's not important. What is important is that it was a danger to Mister Frodo.
