AAAAA A FELLOW BOWIE FAN!!! opinion on Labyrinth?
It is The Superior Movie of All Time, followed closely by The Man Who Fell To Earth, in turn followed closely by anything else David Bowie has ever appeared in or enjoyed himself.
Top watch, great comfort film, 11/10 would Dance Magic Dance again.
All jokes aside I love how it has so many nuanced messages and it takes at least 2 watches to fully appreciate. I just adore anything that makes you think, especially when it's directed at kids - critical analysis is such an important thing to teach young minds. Sarah was indirectly punished for not questioning the authority/legitimacy of the world around her, and she only overcame Jareth when she realised she was the one in control. Its quite a luciferian/atheist-Satanic way of looking at the world which I'm really into tbh, have been since I was about 14 lol.
Sorry for long answer but I should totally do a Labyrinth analysis post because there is SO. MUCH. TO. SAY.
