"Sec do you just hate the indexes and the fact that they were in there in the first place??????? Is that why you said you hated prompts????"
YES I HATE THAT, THAT'S WHAT I HATE.
WHy do I HATE indexes so much - because I move shit around.
I hated having my bujo in a bound book. Where indexes make sense.
These days I use *slappies the FREE REAL ESTATE* binders. Because sometimes I knew I had something to write, but I didn't know where to write it in a bound book. SO I would skip pages.
And then I'd have a mental health weirdness, and not use my bujo, and then I had to figure out what to do with all these random blank pages. AND I HATED IT.
AHHHHH
Also I've tried writing spell books / witchcraft books into binders. I get about three paragraphs in, and then I think of something else, or a rephrasing. And then I start over. And then I think of something else, and then I restart over. I have a series of random three paragraph pages in one of my binders because I have tried and failed multiple times.
AND NONE OF THEM HAVE INDEXES. I AM FREE FROM INDEX HELL.
"how do you find anything"
TABS
I use tabs in my binder, and then I use a post-it note on the inside of the front of the binder to keep track of what the tabs mean. Since my tabs are numbered and can't be changed out with the little slips of paper. It works and is the closest I have ever gotten to a proper index.
