hi! thank you for your interest!

i feel that this project has been on hiatus for a little more than a year now...

basically it started out as a little pet project where i created a set of rules and people would give me a series of inputs and i would generate a magic wand for them!

i kept the rules of the formula secret and they weren’t straightforward. so many people requested wands so i offered to give wand upgrades to people who could correctly guess the rules of the formula! it then became a guessing game and people could browse past examples and look for patterns.

i also started developing lore and a backstory to the wands and the universe they belong to! i’m also sort of connecting it to my library of work on my main blog @bitmapdreams . i hope people can enjoy the nostalgia of 90s-style pixel art and magical child aesthetic.

i felt like i was getting somewhere...thennnn my child care leave ended and i went back to my full time job and my workload went through the roof and i started getting busy with the whole working mom deal, new commitments... and i had to re-prioritize and take a break.

i tried for awhile to code a generator so that i could more quickly create wands but, the rules are quite complicated and i do a lot of small custom details that don’t lend towards coding, so i had to let it go for now.

as a lot of the backstory relates to my own experiences (i draw art as a form of personal introspection and processing) i’m still compiling lore on my own as my life continues... and i hope to revisit this more fully next time i go on maternity leave, which is taking a little longer than expected! in the meantime, enjoy browsing!!

it was the name of a department that was tasked with studying newly formed magic wands. Members of Findings tried to determine why each wand appeared for each child, and the likelihood of the child‘s wand becoming volatile, or transforming. The method has now been determined for the most part, but in the beginning it was quite a mystery.

They are kind of like mentors… you can pick which one to look up to but they all make up a piece of the world— and each is a guardian of one of the places in the kingdom of magical children :)

Hm… well it’s, that’s a good question. It depends on your perspective but for everyone living on eyelid I guess you could say it’s kind of like a round planet type landscape, though some places float in the sky!

oh but the council’s meeting place is located in a castle, to answer your question!

They are one of the 13 mothers! Lettice, is often fearful of being unwanted, but the truth is they are incredibly valued by the children of eyelid. Lettice started as one of the best magical cooks in the star system, and applied these talents to the task at hand— they run the kitchen operations of a welcome center on eyelid that takes care of new magical children. They run the kitchen but the foods that Lettice cooks are more like a clarifying medicine, and they have many loyal followers that come back to visit.Lettice is incredibly empathetic and sincere, especially to the children, but in difficult situations they can often get snippy and overbearing. They try so hard to make everyone comfortable and expect the same kind of love in return.
