and relatedly, YGO is for life, no one leaves this fandom, we can be in other fandoms, we can be away from fandom, we can not engage with a single dramatic card game for a decade or more, but deep down and eventually and again, we are and will be YGO trash

Ah, thank you! I have my moments. Got really into BTS. Learning a new image editing program. Cooking Japanese food. A little more than "just alive". I hate the uncertainty of These Times, but when everything's shit AND the only thing you can rely on is that things be changing, odds are good that things will change for the better sooner or later??

i like thinking that atem is a plant guy because the ancient egyptians loved their lush, extravagant gardens and i like thinking that kaiba is a plant guy because of the brief moments in DM where you can see some nice thriving plants in his otherwise hideous office. which leads me to my next point: thursday night dates acting unhinged at the home depot garden center. kaiba carefully scrutinizing money trees for the one that has the most “dominant” personality. atem bringing his sad peperomia to choose a new friend because he’s worried the bookshelf succulents have been bullying her
