Hydro Thunder’s announcer excitedly exclaiming the game’s name on its title screen, with his iconic enthusiasm.
Wow, you look super cute! I think you got yourself at least one fan. c; - J
Aww, thank you J! Glad you’re a fan of us, if you ever have anything else for us our askbox is always open!
Is there a difference between Turbotime and Rally-X? They both look the same.
Absolutely! As of recently we have both here in the arcade, and the biggest difference between the two is…
eh…
…I might need a hand here
What do you look like?
Oh! I never did put a face to my name, did I? Just a second.
Here you go, a friend took this nice photo of yours truly the other day!
The arcade’s really busy today, on a little bit of a break...
As long as I’m here, mind spamming the inbox? It’s always open and I’ve got the time to kill.
New poster: SUMMER OF ‘86
This is my homage to OUT RUN, the arcade game that Sega created in 1986. For this design I’ve decided that the image of the boy driving and the girl in the passenger seat was boring and outdated. So this part can remain in the 80s. For this new version the girl takes the wheel and changes the passenger (we all know that the guy with the sunglasses was a dickhead). Pretty much cooler now, I think.
I might be a traditionalist when it comes to arcade cabinets, but I really like this artwork. I might have to order one.

8bitracingking replied to your post “We started offering powercards a couple of months ago and people...”
Coins are more fun.
Most of our games still accept coins in addition to the cards but I’m astonished how many people seemingly don’t know how tokens work.
We started offering powercards a couple of months ago and people still keep jamming all the tokens they can into the machines.
Ugh.
Wow this is just.
This is literally the best news I’ve heard in 15 years. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been this happy. Thanks, doll. You’ve made my decade.
Glad to hear it! We post regularly about new game arrivals on here, keep an eye out for the Turbotime arrival!
Oh uh, well hi Cara. I’d appreciate if you told Litwak about the amount of buzz people are making about Turbotime. Really it’s no surprise people want the original Turbotime back, its just such a great classic. It’ll be Turbo-tastic to see it again very soon.
Eh, I mean it’s not like the sequels and spinoffs are awful or anything, but it’s just not the same as the good old classic. You know what I mean?
Absolutely! There’s a charm to older arcade games that new ones just can’t capture. The original game would make an turbo-tastic complement to the reboots we already have!
Litwak for sure already knows, we’ve been working on expanding our selection of classic games in the arcade in general. TurboTime is likely going to be one of the next few games we introduce!

LITWAK? Is this really-
UHHHH
Hello I am a normal player that normally plays your games in your arcade. Have you thought about bringing back TurboTime? That game was the greatest, you should plug that one back in again. All the kids will love it.
So get to it already, buster. It ain’t gonna plug itself in jeeze.
Sorry, I’m afraid this isn’t Mr. Litwak. This is Cara, I’m another employee of the arcade and manage the arcade’s blog and website!
We’ve gotten a ton of requests to bring back the original Turbotime and we’re very seriously considering adding it back to the arcade. You may see it very soon!
In the mean time why not check out some of the other Turbotime games we have, like Turbotime 2 and Turbotime Reloaded?
//Well I think it’s official, I’m going to give some of my blogs here a second shot. I’m currently planning on reviving this blog and another one of mine that never really took off for a fan game called Meltdown.
I have starters from some time back that can still be used, which can be found here:
Litwak’s: Site Opening and Discovery
Meltdown: Game Activation (Text Format) and Game Activation (Paragraph Format)
In addition, you can respond to virtually any post you wish on the Litwak’s blog and I have no problem writing up something completely new, whether it be an open or closed starter. Hope to be writing with you all again soon!
Wangan Midnight (Namco, 2001) &
Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune (Namco, 2004) &
Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 (Namco, 2007)
Second only to Sega’s Initial D games, Wangan Midnight is an extremely popular card based driving game based on a manga series. The original game was simply Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero with the characters and cars from the series tacked on, but then Namco took it in a new direction with Maximum Tune. The game series has fantastic music from the legendary Yuzo Koshiro and tight gameplay, with a realistic 6 speed shifter for manual transmission.
//hello hello
anyone around these days?
