No One Would Miss Me

Pairings: Colin Bridgerton + Penelope Featherington, platonic Benedict Bridgerton + Penelope Featherington

Summary: Benedict finds out Penelope’s big secret.

"Would you excuse me, Lord Debling? I require some fresh air."

"Would you like me to come with you, Miss Featherington?"

"No, thank you, I would like a moment to myself."

My conversations with children

Okay as a fifth year education major in a wheelchair who is constantly around very curious kids and very paranoid parents, this is single-handedly the greatest video I have ever seen!

A gentle reminder that accepting disabled people doesn’t mean ignoring their disabilities.

“That happens sometimes.”

I mean yeah it does.

also those crutches are 10/10 design

mobility help AND still being able to gesture and stuff.

That’s gonna be my go-to response now if I’m ever in a situation akin to this

we should globally ban the introduction of more powerful computer hardware for 10-20 years, not as an AI safety thing (though we could frame it as that), but to force programmers to optimize their shit better

I reblogged this like 9 times kinda jokingly, but software should be able to run on older and less powerful hardware, and consume less power on newer hardware. Like, this is a real problem imo

I completely agree with this but I do need you to understand that the image above is 32 times the size of the lunar mission’s memory

There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.

This is because everything in my life requires work:

  • maintaining friendships
  • keeping up with my hygiene
  • managing bills
  • making money
  • remembering my basic needs
  • sleeping regularly
  • outputting creatively

All requires some aspect of work for me.

And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.

If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.

If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.

You're not dysfunctional.

You're not incapable.

You're doing your best.
