Girlfriend Part 2 (Dean Imagine)
You’re an awesome writer. Can I request a Girlfriend part 2 where Sam gets jealous of reader dating Dean cause they don’t hide their affection. And he doesn’t even know that they found the flask. Ruby and reader fight like full on. Oh, can reader and Dean stay together? Please and thanks. (I’m sorry if it’s too much, I ultimately would love the fight though).
This request is years old, so if you’re still out there, Enjoy!! PART ONE
I didn’t write the Sam jealousy part i just couldnt make it fit! (You would be able to read this without reading part one, its just Sam’s demon blood story line from s4!)
It’s been three weeks since you and Dean found the blood. Three whole weeks of silence and tension you could cut with a knife between the three of you. You and Dean had decided not to confront Sam until you figured out what was really going on. Sam had explained that he was going out in to the library, however he was already there yesterday morning, it was obvious he was going to meet this Demon.
“See you guys later.” Sam called to you and Dean as he left Bobby’s for the “library”. Dean looked at you from the kitchen straight away, as soon as you heard the front door close you jumped up from the living room and walked towards Dean.
“Let’s go.” You said, nudging Deans elbow as you walked past, but he didn’t move. You turned back to him, he was stood with his arms folded across his chest and a worried look painted on his face.
“I’m scared of what we’re going to see y/n.” You were taken back by Dean being so open, the look on his face as he spoke was one you hadn’t seen in a long time.
“We have to find out the truth so we can help him.” You spoke softly.
“But Dean we have to go now before we lose him.”
He nodded and followed you out the door, taking one of Bobby’s cars as Sam had taken the impala. You managed to spot him, but kept your distance to avoid getting burned, Sam was a smart man and would notice very quickly if he was being tailed.
The impala was parked at the side of a road, so you pulled up to the kerb on the opposite side. You saw Sam in and alleyway with the demon, standing very close to each other but simply just talking. You looked at Dean who was clenching his jaw, anxious and stressed out about the situation, on top of the fear he was feeling for what was happening to his brother.
You felt for Dean, you knew how heavy anything with Sam weighed on him. But there was not a lot you could do or say that would help him. You gently placed your hand on top of Dean’s that was resting in his lap in an attempt to comfort. He looked down at it then up at you where you offered a sympathetic smile. He looked back up through the window and jumped out of the car as soon as his eyes met the sight in front of him.
Ruby’s eyes had flicked black as she slit her arm open and Sam sucked on her wound. He came up for air, blood all over his face as Dean started charging towards them. You followed behind, jogging to catch up. Ruby spotted you both before Sam did and flung Dean against the alley wall which caught Sam’s attention.
“Ruby, Stop!” He yelled. He looked up at his older brother who had tears in his eyes. Sam’s face was smeared in blood, but his furrowed brows and puppy dog eyes looked at Dean with so much sorrow.
Ruby let Dean down, and while her attention was on him, you came up behind her and kicked her behind the knee making her drop. Once she was on the floor you grabbed the back of her head by the hair and knee’d her in the face twice. She wrapped her arms around your legs and pulled you done with her. You could hear Sam yelling at you both to stop, but you couldn’t, look what had she done to Sam… how could you let this slide? You scrambled on top of her and punched her face, busting her lip open. You reached down to her hip and stole her knife from her belt. She trembled beneath you as you held it to her throat and her eyes flashed black.
“Y/n please don’t” Sam cried. You didn’t look at him, but you could hear in his voice he was close to tears.
“Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t?” You yelled. Dean was stood over you watching the ordeal go down, not really sure what was happening. You were never one to jump to conclusions like this.
“She can help us kill Lilith.” Sam answered. You traced the knife along her jaw, slicing the surface of her skin and she yelled out. You scrambled off her and backed up into Dean who gently placed his arm on the sides of your arms and gently rubbed. It was unusual, and out of character for him to be so touchy, but you both did need a little bit of extra comfort right now.
“This is not over.” You stormed off back to the car with the knife still clenched in your fist.
“Dean? Say something?” Sam asked his brother. He was crying, from not only fear of what Dean would say but the shame and embarrassment of the two most important people in his life watching him drink demon blood.
“I can’t look at you.” Dean wiped away his tears as he looked at his bloody faced baby brother and the Demon who was stood beside him. He spun on his heel and didn’t look back once at his brother as he left, although Sam’s eyes followed him the whole way to the car just hoping that he would.
Dean said nothing as he got in to the car and started the engine. He was driving for around ten minutes, body tense, white knuckles gripping the steering wheel, not one word spoken, then he pulled over. The car rolled up on to a low grass verge and Dean got out of the car. You watched through the window as he stormed to a tree a couple of feet away and started punching it repeatedly until his knuckles bled. You scurried out of the car and over to him. Much to your shock, he collapsed into your arms, crying on your shoulder.
“Hey. It’s OK” you shushed him. After a moment he stood himself back up straight.
“It’s the farthest thing from OK. This is what my dad was talking about. I didn’t believe him, I thought, there’s no way Sammy would ever do anything so bad that my own father would want me to kill him..”
“Look, I know this is horrible. Scary. Down right disturbing but we have to figure out why. Dean you know he wouldn’t do this unless he thought it was the right thing. He may be doing something evil, but he is not an evil man” Dean wandered over to the side of the car and leaned against it, you mirrored and stood beside him. He pushed his breath out sharply and tried to compose himself. He dried his tears and looked at his knuckles and winced.
“And punching things won’t help” you said.
“Hey, take your own advice, you just beat up a demon” he spoke, almost joking. You looked up at him, waiting until his eyes locked with yours. You smiled at him. A real one. He lifted his arm and draped it over your shoulders, pulling you into a hug.
“I couldn’t get through this without you.” He whispered as he placed a kiss on the top of your head.
You closed your eyes and sank into the moment. Every day since Sam had been distant and you and Dean have been working in such tight quarters, you had become closer and closer as friends. These small moments began to get your heart racing and all of a sudden these small pieces of the puzzle started putting themselves together, despite your best efforts to ignore it all.
You broke the connection that Dean’s body had with your own and stood in front of him. Your eyes trailed down to your feet as you built up some courage. You held both of Dean’s hands and looked up at him, his brows knitted in confusion and his eyes searched your own for answers. To give him one, you just closed your eyes and pressed your body against Dean’s, before lightly grazing your lips over his, barley kissing him. He reciprocated gently, but enough to let you know that he meant it. He pulled back and a small smile spread over his lips. He squeezed your hands before taking a deep breath.
“Look, Y/N-” he began in a regretful tone.
“Hey. I know. Sam’s problem is the priority right now. It’s OK… I just wanted you to know.”
“Thank you” He whispered before bringing you into another hug, this time a whole lot tighter.
