When you wake up to it having rained during the night and everything has this deep, moist vigour to it. This dreamy fogginess hanging in the air, clinging to the leaves and transforming into tiny pearls of perspiration on your skin if you open your window and peak outside. That is what I call everyday magic. When a furtive rainfall in the night, for the gentlest moment, changes the smells, the sounds, the whole palette of the town you've grown so familiar with. I think that's heaven.
