He hesitates then rests his hand on her head, not sure what to do with… this. The soft fur at the base of her ears brushes the sides of his fingers and she flattens them to give his palm more room. ‘Good kitty,’ he murmurs, then flushes when he realises what he said.

She gives an unintended squeak. He gives an awkward laugh, trying to adjust her weight so she’s not sitting—-there.

Her head is too small and every time he tries to remove his hand she growls. But when his thumb slides against the back of her ear, she begins to purr.

Hello friend! Awww thank you so much! This is so nice to hear, I’m so grateful! 🙈 Pansy as a cat just makes so much sense, and you can magnify the extremes of her personality more in this AU which I find so nice to illustrate.

I do love AUs a lot! Coming from Reylo where a major percentage of the 26K fics is made up of AUs (of anything you can think of from modern to the most crack, it exists).. I love canon but AUs help explore the characters more especially in different settings which is so fun 😁

My favourite AU.. Canon (anything where they’re graduated and are working) , Muggle AUs are also a favourite… I also came up with my own Panville Victorian AU on Twitter... bc I love them in Victorian Clothes and old-timey words and customs and greenhouse 🙈
