Batboys Fun Facts/Details

Over the past couple months, I started a list of a bunch of random facts and details I found when I was reading the comics, so here you go:

• Dick gets sea sick

• He also listens to circus music

• Tim has been to a pride parade

• The only time Jason was ever shown smoking was during the post-crisis comics (when are no longer canon). All the stuff about him smoking is purely fandom-made

• Jason has seen Pretty Women and knows it well enough to quote it

• Bruce ate a burger with a knife and a fork

• In the older comics (back from the time when Jason had red hair), he read Pride and Prejudice

• Dick calls Jason "Jay", it's not just a fandom thing

• Zitka the elephant wasn't just a fandom thing, Dick actually had a very close bond with her

• Jason has referred to Bruce as "Dad" both seriously and sarcastically

• Tim listens to rock/punk/alternative music

• Dick took Jason skiing while Jay was Robin

• Tim's favourite pizza combo is Canadian Bacon, onions, and artichoke hearts

[  ] Dick knows how to do a tarrot card reading

[  ] Dick was inspired by Robin Hood

[  ] Dick frequently takes Damian to the arcade

[  ] Both Tim and Jason were legally adopted but Dick was adopted after he was an adult

[  ] Dick uses humor as a coping mechanism and he's aware of it

[  ] Jason considers Dick to be his brother even if he won't say it to his face

[  ] Jason slept with a stuffed animal when he was 12

[  ] Jason had a dog named Sparky when he was very young

[  ] Dick's childhood hero was Robin Hood

[  ] Dick has also nicknamed Jason "Jase"

[  ] Damian and Jason argued over a Bat Burger Happy Meal toy

[  ] They make Red Hood action figures as happy meal toys

[  ] Damian calls Jason "Red Hoodie"

[  ] Damian teased Jason about his hairline and Jason immediately asked Dick if his hair was OK

[  ] Jason has seen Star Wars and references is when he calls Ducra his Yoda

[  ] Tim says that Alfred would make a good Mom and Dick even calls Alfred Mom once

[  ] Tim is an atheist like Bruce

[  ] Jason sleeps curled up in a ball

[  ] Damian likes to play arcade games a lot

[  ] Damian is not a morning person

[  ] Jason didn't have friends when he was Robin, but he did talk to a gargoyle statue

[  ] Damian, Jon, Bruce, and Clark exchanged Christmas gifts once

[  ] Jason has canonically called Tim "Timbers"

[  ] Alfred makes horrible waffles, Tim and Jason bond over this

[  ] Dick still has the picture they took when he was a kid and he went camping with Alfred, Bruce, and Ace

[  ] Dick has been describes as "youthful and androgynous"

[  ] Dick was a stripper for a day

[  ] During a mission briefing with Spiral, Dick was sucking a lollipop and one of the other agents slapped it out of his hands

[  ] Damian snuck into Jason's safe house and stole stuff

[  ] Jason has PTSD

[  ] Jason keeps a framed photo of him and Bruce in his safe house

[  ] Roy has a lot of nicknames for Jason, the most common including Jay, Jaybird, and Sunshine

[  ] Bruce met Jason in the alley where his parents died on the anniversary of their death

[  ] After Jason died, Bruce put a framed photo of him on his nightstand and even carried one around in his belt

[  ] Jason has called both Tim and Dick his brothers

[  ] Jason frequently has flashbacks and talks to himself, other characters are aware of this

[  ] Damian dislikes movies with CGI

[  ] Dick likes Hamlet

[  ] Jason knows a quote about Alexander the Great that was featured in Die Hard by heart

[  ] Jason regularly eats fast food

[  ] Tim canonically calls Damian a Gremlin

[  ] Jason knows who John Douglas is and makes a reference to him as the Marquis of Queensbury

[  ] Dick and Babs went to prom together, Jim drove them

[  ] Tim has called Dick his brother

[ ] Dick passed on his copy of Robin Hood to Damian

[ ] Tim likes skateboarding

[ ] Tim has a baby face and looks very young for his age. As such, during an undercover mission in which he had to be older, he had to go as a woman to pass. His "female name" is Caroline.

[ ] Alfred helps design and make the suits.

[ ] Dick dislikes dressing up, especially wearing ties.

[ ] The only time Jason was ever shown to have a white streak in his hair was when Hush was posing as Jason. The white steak is fandom made just like the autopsy scar and the glowing green eyes.

*These span all the different comic ages (Rebirth, New 52, etc) and do not include the DCAU or DCU movies/shows, and the non-canon (as in side series that was never considered canon at any point) comics.

Title: It’s Learned Behavior! Part 1!

You are spectacular! I loved this

Here's a thought.

So you know how girlfriend's steal their significant other's hoodies and clothes.

But what if instead of that...

Marinette steals her significant other's weaponry.

That's it that's the prompt.

Bonus points if she does this as Lady Noire.

Anybat or bird of your choosing.

Red Robin felt it. Someone was watching him.

“I know your there!” he called out into the silent night.

Looking around in every corner he couldn’t find the person. He had a solo patrol tonight. Everyone else was far away from him. Reaching for his comm just in case he needed to send Oracle a emergency alert.

But when he touched his ear his comm was gone.

He feels wind rushing behind him. He catches a glimpse of leather.

Selina Kyle, Catwoman, notorious thief and Bruce Wayne’s girlfriend.

“Catwoman I thought you only went after B?”

Tim was only met with silence.

“Catwoman?”

Another gust of wind passed infront of Tim. This time he caught a sight of two glowing green cat eyes staring at him out front the shadows.

“Sorry to disappoint Little Red but I’m not Catwoman.”

Startled by unknown voice Tim reached for his baton only it was gone to.

Looking up again he finally can see the figure clearly. It was a girl in a black leather spandex suit with black cat ears (which looked as if they were twitching) and a floating midnight braid behind her.

In her hand was his baton and comm.

He stopped himself forming checking her out at the very last second and brought his eyes back to her glowing green ones.

“Hiya little birdy, I wasn’t expecting to run into you tonight but i’m glad I did. I always like keeping something to remember my friends from.” she said with a small grin letting him get a good look at her sharp canines.

“Firends?” Who was this apparent goddess. What is it with this family and falling in love with cat criminals. —Wait he isn’t inlove.

“Of course timmy” she was behind him in less than a second, he could feel her breath on his neck.

WHAT PAUSE DID SHE SAY TIMMY. Oh fudge pies Bruce would be so mad.

He turns around mostly out of shock of her knowing his I.D but lucky him she’s gone again.

With he squints really hard he thinks can she her sillouette on top of a near by building.

He grapples to the building to try and catch the girl only to find a paw print notepad.

He was utterly in love.

Okay, the only thing I can think of right now after @moonlitceleste‘s No Time to Diem which you should all read, is a fic in which Lila somehow gets in contact with Batman and convinces them Marinette is working with Hawkmoth.  So, Tim goes undercover and pretends to be interested in her and becomes her friend and eventually boyfriend, while looking for evidence.  And he finds some in the form of she knows more than she should, she always disappears during an attack, and she’s always out of breath and not where he left her.  

Red Robin eventually brings his concerns and evidence to Ladybug.  She asks how he got his information and he says he has an informant that is really close to her.  She puts two and two together and says Marinette’s boyfriend is just a plant.  He’s using her for information.  Red Robin tries not to confirm but does.

She asks him where did he get his information.  He doesn’t want to say but eventually admits it was a sweet, concerned girl named Lila.  Ladybug is pissed now but keeps it together and states in no uncertain terms that Marinette is NOT working with Hawkmoth.  

Red Robin is convinced that Ladybug just doesn’t want to think poorly of her friend and he tries to point out all of the evidence.  Ladybug points out that Marinette has been one of our heroes in the past and during that time, she held ALL of the miraculous at one time, including Ladybug and Chat Noir’s and used them to SAVE Ladybug and Chat Noir then promptly returned them.  Lila however has tried to keep Chat away from fights so he couldn’t help me, so I would fail.  “Congratulations Boy Wonder.  You’ve outed your identity, worked with one of my enemies, and helped a bully to further bully her victim in ways that she would never have been able to otherwise, all in one fail swoop.  You must be proud.”

Tim now feels guilty as fuck but can’t fix it because Ladybug threatened him if he ever went near Marinette again.  He decides to get back at Lila anyway and takes her down without telling Marinette he did it.  He asks about her from Ladybug frequently as well to check and make sure she is doing better because now that he knows it wasn’t an act, he knows she really is amazing and deserves to be happy.

Great idea! I can feel the angst!
