The excuses are actually very unprofessional, I just wasted my time reading this. Just own your decisions, this is so exhausting..

Honestly, maybe before the producers make their decisions, the directors or supervisors should have the authority to ask "how does this help my story?" And if the producer can't give a good enough answer then it should be written down and put away in a special drawer (garbage can).

"How does Cal being a man and white help my story?"
