Delegates visit the American Library in Paris.
The delegates of the Association France-Grande Bretagne, now meeting in Paris, paid a visit yesterday to the American Library in Paris. They comprise teachers of English from the smaller provincial colleges and school and their visit to the library was arrange in order that they might familiarize themselves with the assistance which the library is prepared to give.
They were received by the director, who explained the regulations for issuing books and expressed the eagerness of the library to assist them in every way possible in the teaching of English, and especially American literature. After a thorough inspection of the library they also visited the library school, where Mr. Milan, secretary of the American Library Association; Miss Parsons, director of the school, and Mr. Coyecque, one of the instructors, gave short talks on the work of the school and the American movement.
