Oh! I've always wanted to be good with colors, and mixing them together and stuff, like color theory and all but honestly, I just go with what I think looks good. I don't really have any tricks about choosing colors, except when I need inspiration for an oc, or design. It's cool to use a picture, like maybe a cool landscape picture with nice colors to inspire you! I use my own most of the time, but Pinterest works wonders too!

For shading I have one tip however! When I shade, I draw two shadows. One shadow is a "warm color", like orange, or yellow and I put it on multiply. The other one blue, or a "cold color" and I usually put on top of the warm one. I've seen some artists doing it, and I think it's supposed to add a more indepth look to your art? But it looks cool either way.

On top of that, i also slap on some overlays, to give it that warm finish look.

Art is mainly my hobby but if I'd have to give out some concrete tips, it'd be to watch a bunch of Speedpaints on YouTube, that's how I ended up learning a bunch of things like shading and such. I may even make a SpeedPaint of my own who knows (^^).
