I find it kind of funny that Shane is labelled the "i can fix him" romance of sdv but...he really isn't. You, the player, actually do very little in terms of "fixing" him. You watch him have a few breakdowns, and you intervene when he's drunk on the cliffs, but...he's the one who decides to start going to therapy. He's the one who decides to quit drinking. These are not things that you ever encourage him to do. You can headcanon certain interactions all you want, but this isn't like "the player chooses the genre of Elliott's future book." You have no impact on whether or not Shane cleans up his life. You support him at a few key moments, but the desire to change and be better comes from Shane, not the player.

You don't fix him. He fixes himself.

While i was on break (I still am btw) i couldnt stop thinking about Athena having a human wife.

Athena met her wife at a university while pretending to be human, at first they were only friends but eventually Athena fell deeply in love and confessed to her.

I think Athena would grant her wife immortality cause she wants to be with her forever. And her wife would force Athena to help her children every time they ask for help cause why tf not.

I also think Athenas wife is very motherly and kind, and she would send gifts to her stepchildren for their birthdays to show that she does care.

And imagine if the best trio, Percy, Annabeth and Grover are in danger and running from monsters near where Athenas wife lives, and Athena just says to Annabeth to go to that house without giving a explanation.

And the absloute shock Annabeth would feel after finding out that the house they are in belongs to Athenas wife, her stepmother.

Annabeth would 100% feel akward at first, espacially cause Athenas wife is very friendly and motherly towards her.

Athenas wife would also be motherly to Percy and Grover, which they found akward at first but they quickly started to like her.

Athenas wife is 100% the biggest percabeth shipper ever.

To Percy, Grover and Annabeth, Athenas wife is their second mom now and they will fistfight gods for her honor.

And oh boy if Athena and her wife ever have an argument, the whole cabin six, Percy and Grover are ready to defend her honor.

And Athenas like, okay cool.

unfortunately a lot of the corny self help advice turns out to be true but the thing is you have to come to those conclusions yourself otherwise it just sounds dismissive and dumb
