I’ve just rewatched the whole of teen wolf and just… season one episode where fugitive derek is in his bedroom is so funny to me cause, like.

stiles walks into his room and goes straight for the laptop. derek remains hidden behind the door and is just ???? staring??? at stiles ??? for the entirety??? of the three seconds??? it took??? for his father ??? to call him???

like what was derek’s plan? wait and stare in silence until stiles naturally turned around and spotted him and screamed before threatening him or smth?? was he thinking of a witty one liner to say that would make stiles piss himself in terror?? was he waiting for the sheriff to leave the house??? was he working up the nerve to ask him if he could stay hidden in his bedroom???

Derek was damn lucky the Sheriff yelled because Stiles was a teenager and there was a damn good chance he was going to pull up some porn on that laptop.

derek hale: here you can see me just standing in the corner of stiles stilinski’s room. I was standing there for 15 minutes before stiles showed up, and I was simply thinking of a witty sentence to say that would make him nervous without him immediately alerting the police. My plans were foiled by the sheriff calling his name, but I was very close to come up with something snarky enough to impress stiles.
