Hey you! General Conference is next weekend! Don’t know what I’m talking about?

General Conference is a twice-yearly meeting of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (you might know it as the Mormon Church). Latter-day Saints gather in what’s called the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States for two days (though it’s all done remotely this time) and listen to talks from church leaders. These talks cover a variety of different topics including faith, family, daily living, and service. Church members believe that we can receive personal revelation from God, and General Conference talks are one way we do that.

Conference is a time for hope and inspiration, something that we all need during these difficult times, and you can attend and participate alongside 16 million Latter-day Saints all over the world.

General Conference is streaming at ChurchofJesusChrist.org and on YouTube, as well as through various TV and radio stations, from October 3-4, 2020. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. MDT on both days, with a session for women at 6 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 3).
