Small Hoop Earrings

for male sims

Like the other earring conversions, I’ve created a single earring version of this basegame mesh, one for each ear. Also available is a version for both ears, which is a standalone recolour.

I’ve removed the original two colours (low-contrast silver and gold) and have instead included four shades of grey, a couple of gold, and a few that are sort of copper/bronze. I increased the contrast a little bit so they hopefully don’t look as matte as the originals.

Single Stud Earrings

for male sims

Like the hoop earrings, I’ve recreated the left-ear version while creating the right-ear version.  This newer version has updated tags and is set to not be valid for random, and of course now is available for the right ear as well.

This updated verison includes a few additional colours, as the original palette is a bit bright. I added grey, dark blue, and dark green.

Received a request for a version of the single hoop and stud earrings with the earring in the right ear, and since the single hoop earring was my first ever upload I decided to remake it while creating the right-ear version. Two-Tone Sweater

for boys

Here’s another recolour from Cats & Dogs, this time of the “Rugby Sweater”. I opted to recolour these in two tones, keeping it similar to the original swatches, but removing the half-sleeve stripes and front logos.

This recolour is a standalone item in CAS, and includes eight two-tone swatches.

Patchless Jeans (and Sweater)

for toddler boys

I like this new outfit for toddlers from Cats & Dogs, but the original feels a bit too busy. I’ve removed the pawprints from the pants (front & back) and removed the dog patch as well to clean it up a bit. This is just a separate recolour, not an override of the original. It includes all of the original swatches, with one minor change to the outfit with yellow pants - I changed the shade of yellow slightly.

Arch Support Fix

fix for the 2-tile arch from the Cats & Dogs pack

This is a really tiny fix in a really tiny file. For some reason there’s a small issue with the cutout on the 2-tile arch included in Cats & Dogs, which leaves a little rectangle floating in the doorway (circled in red above). My fix updates the cutout only to remove the rectangle.

Please note: The Cats & Dogs pack is required, as the mesh is not included in the file.

Cropped Pants

for toddlers

I removed the bows from the cropped pants that came with the recent toddler update, as I wanted some more basic variation and wasn’t crazy about the bows. I’ve included 22 solid colours.

I opted to leave this tagged as “feminine” like the original version, but it is available for boys as well.

Rolled-up Cargo Shorts

for boys

A while back I converted and recoloured the cargo capris from Outdoor Retreat for boys, and I only recently noticed that the cargo shorts from the same EP were also only for girls.

Since they look like a rolled-up version of the cargo capris, I converted these shorts and recoloured them in the same 13 colours.

Polo, No Logo

for children

I thought the polo shirt from the base game might make a decent shirt for kids’ clubs in Get Together, but I didn’t care for the logo (and limited palette).

I couldn’t find any Maxis-match, solid-colour recolours of this shirt, so I’ve removed the logo, and added a bunch of additional colours. It has its own entry in CAS, separate from the base game’s rabbit logo polo.

Cargo Capris

These capri pants came with Outdoor Retreat, but were only made available for girls and in various pastels.

I’ve converted them for boys, and ditched most of the original colours because, well, I found them to be unpleasant. My conversion includes 13 colours (as seen above), and should be basegame compatible.

Shorter Sideswept Bangs

for girls

I’ve done simple hair conversions before, but never really modified a hair mesh before. lumialoversims just posted a beginner’s tutorial (thanks!), so I figured I would run through it to take a first shot at editing hair. I shortened the Sideswept Bangs girls’ hairstyle, so it’s now chin-length.

Super easy tutorial, so I recommend checking it out if you’re interested in trying out some minor edits! It can be a bit tedious editing all the lods, but I like the results.

I’ve uploaded my edited version just in case anyone’s interested. Non-default, includes all the original colours, and should be compatible with all hats.

StickiMo Travel Acoustic Guitar (no sticker)

It has been a while, so this is not only my first upload in several months, but also my first object recolour (thanks to Sims 4 Studio). I like the new guitar from Outdoor Retreat, but I'm not a fan of the sticker, so I've cleaned it up. The item description:

Not as enthusiastic about camping as StickiMo? The authentic sticker has been expertly removed from this StickiMo Travel Acoustic Guitar by a herd of carefully-trained goats. Strangely, this has slightly increased the value of the guitar.

This is a non-default recolour, so it shows up as a separate item and contains all the colours from the original-- minus the sticker. It does require Outdoor Retreat, as this file doesn't contain the mesh.

Long Denim Shorts

for male sims

Here is the adult male version of the long denim shorts. Like the child version, this is based off the long gym shorts mesh with a modified version of the skinny jeans with the studded belt (the belt is included in the design, but gets hidden by most shirts).

This is non-default, and contains the following colours: black, dark grey, grey, ivory, khaki, brown, army green, blue, dark blue (above), red, and dark red.

These new, non-default shorts for children are based on the gym shorts mesh and use a modified version of the adult jeans with the studded belt. Includes the following colours: black, dark grey, grey, white, dark blue, blue (above), green, brown (above), khaki, orange, red (above).

Short Straight Bangs Conversion

Here’s another boy’s hairstyle converted for girls, to provide another short hairstyle option. Like the short afro conversion, it’s non-default, so it won’t replace another style. Includes all colours from the boy’s version.

There aren’t really any shorter hairstyles for girls in the game, and I’m surprised this one wasn’t already included by default. This is a conversion from the boy’s short afro, and includes all the same colours. Non-default, as it doesn’t replace any existing hairstyles.

Single Small Stud Earring

for male sims

As requested, here's the the single small stud earring for male sims. It has all the standard colours from the two earring version, and also has four more: gray, darker blue, darker green, darker red. It does retain the shiny quality of the original, this just doesn't capture well in a screenshot.

This is non-default, so it will not overwrite the two earring version.
