I am so in love with Turning Red that I drew fanart of it even while we were making it haha! Boarding on this show was the best, most fun experience I’ve had working in animation. I’m so proud of Domee and all my friends who worked together to make exactly what we wanted to see!

his character isn’t really made for fanservice (nor is originally meant to be attractive in any way), he’s literally just a conman that’s there for comedic relief like 80% of the time  and looks like this in the manga

absolutely nobody asked Bones to try to make Reigen look attractive in the anime and the fact that now he’s considered like one of the top anime bishies is hilarious because at the end of the day the original still looks like this
